Expect great service, the sales assistants are fantastic and helpful. If you can't make up your mind or just need some great advice make sure you catch their eye. All the varieties they have recommended to me or my family have been winners. If you are after a gift consider getting one of the selections that come in various sizes. There are ones devoted to particular types of chocolate, or enormous ones that have samples of almost every flavour. A word of warning: avoid at Easter or close to Christmas. Don't even try unless it is within the first hour of opening.

From the raw cacao bean right through to the samples handed out by their staff. I've always admired their dedication to this entire process, one of the few Australian companies to do so. I also like that they go for classic flavours and don't do anything too "out there" when it comes to flavourings and fillings. Sure, interesting flavours are great - but Haigh's does classic chocolate excellently and for that I respect them highly.

Chocolate Box Camberwell is not a big store but, then again, I haven't actually seen a really big outlet in Melbourne yet. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. I guess what I like best about the shop is the box of chocolates wrapped with a ribbon like a present. It saves from having to wrap the box yourself so you really just have to buy it, pop it in a bag and you're all set. Next time you are on Burke Road and feel like a treat, it wouldn't hurt to pop in and have a look around.

Chocolate covered strawberries, I believe they were milk chocolate. You get freeze dried strawberries with chocolate surrounding it. It's basically a malt ball with a hint of strawberry inside. This was one pretty good, better than what I was expecting. The strawberry flavor isn't a lot, but you can get it come out if you bite the chocolate in half. :P They had dark chocolate peppermint. PEPPERMINT. They have it all over as pieces and they're refreshing. It comes out of left field and you totally will enjoy it if you're a fan of peppermint :D The chocolate melted so this went in the refrigerator when I got back to LA (LA WHYYY) so I didn't get to eat this first D: Shoulda. Get it if you're a fan of peppermint! There was also 99% chocolate here. There is quite a wait to have your own chocolate created (1.5 hours minimum). You use an automated kiosk to pick your chocolate base, inclusions, and even the packaging. At the end of the process you'll be asked for an Australian contact number. If you don't have one just come check in with your receipt at a later time.

More like a deli instead of a butchery of gourmet meats. The staff are so energetic (full of protein literally) and I always (without fail) order two parmas that just need to be whacked into the microwave for a few minutes, and they are just a meal in itself for me on those respective two nights a week I am not in the mood to cook.
