Doug and his team are absolute professionals!! The crew arrived precisely on time, got to work straight away walking the work area and formulating a solid game plan. Every single cut, from the smallest branch to the biggest trunk was methodical and deliberate ensuring each piece fell exactly where intended. I'm beyond impressed with the results and consider the cost well worth it. Most highly recommended! read more

I requested that some trees be lightened so that there would be less risk of them falling on my house. They were on time, professional, and very good with the clean up. I would definitely use them again. Thanks guys. :) read more

Quick response to our request, very professional team had some changes to the work needed worked with us to get the area cleaned up.

Siskiyou Tree Experts is my go-to tree trimming service. I call them in autumn of each year to take care of my trees and hedges. The company is owned by Doug, a licensed arborist. He gives a very thorough estimate, and the job is done exactly as promised. His crew is well-trained and professional. Seeing them at a neighbor's house working some years ago impressed me and I decided to give them a try. I like to recommend them to people who are looking for a good company to deal with. Word of mouth is the best advertising. You'll also enjoy speaking with Sonia, the scheduler who sets up the appointments. There's nothing better than when your first contact at a company is with someone who is very efficient. read more

Office staff is great!!! Tree service did NOT follow thru with finishing job because of bird nest inside tree limb even after I called and reminded the person in charge. We paid for entire job but person in charge did Not follow thru!!! read more

Not much I can add to what others have already said! We had two dying/dead madrones, one between our pumphouse and storage shed, and another one within close proximity to our house. They dropped both with precision and all three structures remain intact! Very professional, good attention to detail and safety, and reasonably priced. Would definitely use again. Thanks for a job well done! read more

I'm very happy with Doug and Siskiyou. I've used their services twice in the last few years, for both pruning as well as tree removal. Both times the job was done professionally and they left my yard clean and the job was done as expected. Doug knows his business and really loves trees and always gave me good advice and took the time to explain things. I would definitely use Siskiyou again and I hope their prices stay reasonable! read more

This company is great! They are very professional and honest. They cut back my huge tree , they charged me the price they quoted even when it was a6 weeks later when they did the work. They cleaned up and didn't leave any mess. They were also a few hundred dollars under the first company I called. Definitely would recommend them and will be using again read more

Did a fantastic job taking out some BIG dead timber in our backyard. Solid work at a fair price

I have a couple of big trees that need pruning. I called Siskiyou for an estimate, and Doug showed up later that day, right at the appointed time. Since this is a new house for me, I didn't know much about the trees. Doug identified them as a maple and an oak, and was able to estimate their care history by noticing old cuts from previous pruning efforts. He pointed out the weak limb on the maple that could potentially be a problem, in the future. The oak tree was mostly okay, just needs some minor pruning. He suggested that the best time to perform work on these trees is in late summer. I will call Siskiyou back then, because Doug is knowledgeable, a good communicator, and the quoted prices are reasonable. read more

Siskiyou Tree Experts is AMAZING and gets a WELL DESERVED 5 stars from me! We had three different people come over to give us estimates for massive pruning needed on trees in our front and back yards, which included a tree whose branches had grown onto our roof and our neighbor's roof. Our house is 25 years old and it's quite possible that a good portion of this pruning had never been done before. All three showed up, but only two sent us estimates. Siskiyou was $400 over the other estimate, but because the estimate was so detailed and clear and because Doug was obviously passionate about his work, we decided to go with him. We got a confirmation text one business day before the crew showed up, and they showed up right on time. When we went to give Doug the check, he informed us that once they got into working, there was less work than originally thought, so charged us $300 less! Now, that's honesty! Ten words: If you need tree and/or tall hedge work, GO TO SISKIYOU TREE EXPERTS. read more

We had a great experience with Doug and Travis. First, my initial call was answered and was told Doug could come over that evening to give an estimate. He arrived on time and gave me a price. He was able to do the job the next day. He called 30 minutes before he arrived the next day to let us know he would be a bit early! He said the job would take about two hours and it did. They did all the cleanup and left the yard looking great after removing the very large limb that had come down. Seriously professional. Will use them for all my tree needs. Good people. read more

Doug and his people came to our rescue when a tree broke and landed on our rental house. His prices are amazingly reasonable compared to others who charge almost three to four times what he does and always professional. Thank you for everything! read more

I had a dead pine leaning towards my rental house in the woods. With winter coming we did not wish to take any chances. I called several companies for quotes. NONE were as pleasant as Siskiyou Tree Experts. And I mean NONE. Their pricing is absolutely within reason and their kindness, honesty and professionalism was above and beyond! Darcee was absolutely top notch in assisting me with my questions, scheduling the work and really understood my needs and situation. Her friendliness and attention to detail is commendable. Doug was on time and professional. He even took the time to call me and answer my questions while on site as I could not be present. His honest and knowledgeable assessment of the situation filled me with the gratitude of being in capable hands. Doug came and removed the tree and all of it's debris and did a beautiful job cleaning up. My tenant and I are both very pleased. The billing process was easy and efficient. Seriously, I cannot recommend Siskiyou Tree Service enough! It felt as though I was working with family. I am actually looking forward to hiring them for next round of additional work I need, as I know it will be an easy process, and an honest and more than stellar job completed. I am extremely grateful to have Siskiyou Tree Services added to my vendor list. Thank you Doug and Darcee! read more

Doug and his crew were on time and very professional. From my experience trying to get 3 bids, many tree companies were not reliable even getting back to me. Doug got back to me the same day did a great job and cleaned up the work site like they were never there at all. Not only would I hire them again, I just did hire them again to remove another tree. Very knowledgeable and prices are very competitive! read more

Friendly and reliable. Doug, and his team came out and took care of several fallen trees and over-growth. It was great to watch his team work so well together and maneuver through the trees. I highly recommend Siskiyou - very professional and great to work with! read more

We chose Siskiyou Tree Experts initially because they were the lowest bid for removing some messy pine trees from our back yard--but the level of expertise and professionalism we experienced would have been worth almost any price. Doug and his talented crew worked like a well-choreographed ballet in expertly falling and removing three huge pine trees that were situated very close to our home. They were so entertaining, we invited the family and had a deck party just to watch. Can't say enough great things about Doug, Justin, Chris and Tate. These young men were all professional, talented, polite and very knowledgeable about their trade. It's rare to deal with a company that not only fulfills, but surpasses your expectations. My rating is 10 stars for Doug and his company. read more

Outstanding honesty! I was concerned about a tree that was leaning slightly toward my house and called Siskiyou Tree Experts. Doug arrived to provide an estimate -- arriving exactly on time -- and looked over this and several other trees that were of concern. To my tremendous relief he said that none of the trees posed a danger to my home. He offered a reasonable estimate if I wanted to go ahead with the removal. (I'll wait.) Strongly recommended. Most certainly this will be the first company I call if another tree issue comes up. read more
