took my dog for the first time there and they were so nice! my dog came out looking so cute!!

Scabbing on top of head and neck.

My son has been taking our husky here for months to get a nail trim. We never had an issue so, I told him to try their grooming services. My husky is a rescue and she is very afraid of strangers. She returned home very withdrawn and wouldn't let me touch her. When I was finally able to pet her she screamed in pain. Whatever device they used to hold her during the grooming left deep, painful scratches in her neck and behind her ears. The hair on the back of her neck has scabbed over and the hair is falling out in clumps. Take your pet here at your own risk. These people are wolves in sheep clothing!

I'm the owner of a beautiful 4 year old Alaskan Malamute named Xena. I get her grooming done regularly at Sisi's I dropped her at and asked her my regular bath, deshedding treatment and asked Maria (the owner) if you could trim/shave the knots around her neck and butt area bc those are difficult for me to comb out. She said yeah no problem we'll take care of her, and gave me a pick up time. I've brought Xena here multiple times and have never had an issue with any of the groomers, anytime there's some confusion or suggestion they call me to explain and get an ok. When I picked up Xena I was so completely shocked!!! They SHAVED OFF ALL OF HER FUR! COMPLETELY! I said this isn't Xena right? The helper said yeah she's ready to go! I told her I never wanted her fur shaved off! And was there a problem? She said "I was given instructions to shave her completely, which I thought was strange bc we never shave huskies" I told her, "well if you had a doubt why didn't you call me to clarify! One phone call wasn't going to take a lot of time away from you" She said, well it's done already and you owe me $130 I told her I wasn't going to pay for her messing up my dog!!! I was completely distraught and inconsolable. I asked to speak to the owner, which could only be via phone. I asked her what and how did this happen. She replied, "yeah remember you said complete shave and I told you it would be $130"? I said no!! There's no way I would've agreed to this! They were totally not remorseful! Didn't apologize! Nothing! They blamed it on ME! Malamutes NEED their coat! the coat also relieves your dog from the heat. It acts as insulation for both heat and cold. They removed her protective layer. The girl at the shop proceeded to tell me that I HAD to pay her or couldn't take my dog! She said I could call the police if I wanted but she would not release my dog to me because she needed to get paid! We argued back and forth and they finally "felt bad" and offered 50% off! Are you kidding me!!! Literally holding my dog hostage from me and wouldn't even give me back her collar. She was not apologetic and frankly didn't care! This woman is bigger than me size wise so I was afraid to get aggressive myself. And as professional groomers they should know better to communicate with the owner before performing any drastic aesthetic changes! Especially if I've been coming here regularly. i had to pay cash $60 and wasn't given a receipt. My mom called back after I left asking for a receipt email and the girl told my mom she didn't feel comfortable speaking over the phone I don't want anyone to experience what I went through. Yes, Xena will feel some relief in this heat, but Xena stays indoors with the AC in the day time and is constantly hydrated, but she still needs her protective coat! I had buy her a special cooling vest, special shampoo and vitamin supplements to aid in healthy hair growth. I'm very sad because Ive brought Xena here since she was a puppy and I support my local businesses! I was clear with my request and it was completely ignored. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! Thank you!

He was left with a bad cut

Not only did my dog seem so sad for hours after taking him to get groomed here, but his cut was not the best either. His cut had no "style", they just shaved all his hair off and it did not look nice or groomed. I was already not happy about how pricey they charged compared to other places that we've taken him, and on top of all of this, they left him with a cut on the back of his ear. Will not be returning here and do not recommend to others.

Before his service.

5/5 Sisis was great with my fur baby. He was in and out within an hour. I highly recommend this place.

Very poor customer service. They don't listen to what you actually want to have done for your dog or cat. I seriously would not go here.

She was looking like a shaggy dog (and smelling like one too!), and I was afraid she was over-heating during this heat wave. I contacted Mr. Dog Mobile Grooming, and was even able to make an appointment very easily online! I was able to text with the team beforehand, so they knew the age and breed of my puppy. They asked if I had any specific concerns or requests, and even proactively told me that they take special care of puppies to ease their anxiety. The mobile van arrived on time (they even shared their location so I could track their arrival time). They also asked me what type of cut I was looking for, to which I let them know my concerns about her overheating. Then all I had to do was pass my puppy into their arms. The whole grooming session took about 1.5 hours, and it shows that the time was spent giving my puppy the best haircut. It also gave me a much needed break from puppy duty to wash the dishes and mop her play area. I have found my favorite groomers for life! Thank you Stephany and team for making Chloe look like the princess she is!

Apparently she closed the door BUT NOT ALL THE WAY and he maneuvered by using his snout to open the door. We are grateful that she was able to catch him because he was pooping at that moment, but if it would have been another ending of her not being able to catch him and loosing him, this wouldn't have been good. After this incident, I don't know if I can trust this service anymore. Just wanting to put this review on their Yelp page so that future and present customers will be able to know to make sure that whoever is taking care of their pup is safe and secured. Ontop of that, he was a little damp and apparently Kelly told my husband that it was the perfume. I don't think perfume would make the fur "damp".

She was supposed to care for my husky before a trip we had planned. Because of her, we had to cancel. This was over a year ago now. But I keep hearing how she just became worst and worst with clients I had referred to her. I now refer them to another local groomer who is patient with all animals and does more for the community than could be expected. Dulce had me pick up my dog (basically turn right back around) because she said she tried to bite some of the smaller dogs. My dog is a husky rescue, who does not do well with smaller dogs under certain situations. Dulce knew and was told to keep her separate. But Dulce insisted on blaming me for my dog's trauma-provoked reactions. In any case, I am happy to say that my RayRay walks freely in the new groomer's shop around all the small dogs and has zero issues with temperament. The way that Dulce treated my dog was ridiculous and mean. My other dog, Loki, is happy in his new home with my son and has done well with his new sibling, a great dane. They stopped taking him to Dulce too due to her judgmental comments about his relocation to move with my son (at my son's request). If you have a reactive dog, a dog that isn't "well behaved" to Dulce's standards, just go somewhere else. She became to unprofessional and surprisingly rude once she got comfortable. I also witnessed her being so mean to some of the clients who were waiting outside several times. Her ego got the best of her. Unfortunate. Sometimes sweet, other times she just was so overbooked and stressed that she didn't pay attention. She also is not good with long hair dogs. Not sure why she just can't admit where her shortcomings are and not be a hater to other local groomers. She can simply refer us instead of shaving our Huskies. (ugh) Anyway, glad to be done with her. She seems to do well with small dogs though. So who knows.

My little guy has struggled with skin issues for years, especially in the wrinkles around his face. Ever since Jenni started grooming him, his skin has improved so much and is now pretty much resolved. What really stands out is how much care she puts into every visit. She takes the time to gently clean between all of his facial wrinkles instead of rushing through it, and it has made such a huge difference. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and treats them like they're her own. With a senior dog, finding someone you completely trust isn't easy, but I never have to worry when he's with Jenni. He always comes home looking great, smelling fresh, and most importantly, comfortable. Thank you, Jenni, for taking such amazing care of my old man. I truly appreciate everything you do, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with him. If you're looking for a groomer who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile, I can't recommend Jenni enough

While I have not been a customer since 2025, I still believe it is important to share my experience. I would never intentionally fabricate or misrepresent what happened, and I want to acknowledge that there were positive aspects to Honest Groomers as well. That said, while the groom itself was around $95, we consistently left a generous tip, especially considering how difficult we were told our dog could be. I understand that tipping is optional, but I consider it part of the overall cost of the service, which meant we were ultimately paying over $100. I also understand that the safety and comfort of a dog must come first. However, I personally felt that paying for a full service when certain portions could not be completed was unfair. For example, if paw trimming cannot be safely completed, I would have appreciated the option of having that portion deducted from the total. That said, I understand and respect the business's policy, even if I do not necessarily agree with it. Thankfully, his current groomer has had no complaints about his behavior. Regarding the accommodation of grooming my dog on the owner's day off, I want to clarify two things. More often than not, the owner was not the person who actually performed the groom; other groomers were assigned to him. While I appreciate the accommodation, it was never something I requested, nor was I aware that it was being done specifically for us. Nonetheless, I can appreciate the effort and intention behind it. With all of that said, I intend for this to be my last comment regarding this business. Honest Groomers was clean, most of the groomers we interacted with were friendly and kind, and they did communicate their concerns with us. However, ultimately, for the price we were paying, I felt that we were better off finding another groomer. I wish them the best moving forward. Thank you for your efforts.

I'm writing this review with the biggest, most sincere gratitude in my heart…read more My lazy boy, Jaxxy, is a 6-year-old hound who has always struggled with severe anxiety when it comes to getting his nails trimmed. We've tried multiple groomers, and they've all eventually given up. Even our vet told us they wouldn't attempt a nail trim unless he was put under anesthesia because his fear gets so extreme that he holds his breath to the point of nearly passing out. I couldn't bear the thought of having to put my baby under anesthesia every time he needed a nail trim, so as a last resort, I decided to try Barkbus Mobile Grooming. Even then, I was incredibly nervous. The last thing I ever want is for my dog to suffer a serious medical emergency because he's so terrified of having his nails cut. We were truly blessed to have Samuel. I explained Jaxxy's past experiences and asked him, please, not to push Jaxxy beyond his limits. Samuel listened, understood, and treated Jaxxy with the patience and compassion I had been desperately hoping to find. Throughout the appointment, I received text updates while Samuel took breaks with Jaxxy, reassuring him that everything was okay and allowing him to go at whatever pace he needed. When I picked Jaxxy up, Samuel explained that he had been very afraid at first, but they took things slowly. He also reassured me that he would continue to take his time with Jaxxy at future appointments and work on earning his trust. I cannot explain the relief I feel knowing we've finally found someone who genuinely listens, understands our fears, and cares about my dog's emotional well-being just as much as I do. It means everything to find a groomer who chooses patience over pressure and compassion over convenience, rather than giving up on a dog who needs a little extra understanding. To Samuel and Barkbus, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have given me hope that Jaxxy can learn to feel safe during something that has always been terrifying for him. That peace of mind is priceless to me. 100000% RECOMMEND BARKBUS, AND ESPECIALLY SAMUEL! If you have an anxious pup who needs someone willing to be patient, listen, and earn their trust, please give them a chance. You and your fur baby deserve that kind of care.
