Avoid this store - terrible experience for families. This store is incredibly dated, but the poor…read moreenvironment is nothing compared to the owner's behavior. She is openly rude to children, actively shaming them just for wanting toys, while giving blatant preferential treatment to select families. Furthermore, the store's "limit rules" are arbitrary and only enforced when she feels like it. Unpleasant experience here with rude salesperson. I found something I thought my mom would like and…read morewanted to share it with her so I went to take a photo and a sales associate told me I wasn't allowed to do so. I explained that I just wanted to show it to my mom and asked for clarity on the photo policy - for example, could she share a photo with me to send, or could she provide me with information on the item, which is not on their website from what I can tell (though most of their items are, so I'm sure what their issue is with photos - if someone is trying to copy something (is that the concern?) they could look at their items online for the most part). In response, she said "well I already told you what the policy is" but that she'd let me take one photo in this instance. I did so and left. How could anyone think that's an appropriate thing to say to a customer just trying to shop at your store and get more information about what is permitted and how their policies work?? Most local boutiques allow photos - it's not like this is standard. She could have just kindly explained that it is store policy for this reason or that reason and it would have been fine. They have some nice and unique items here, but being treated like this does not make me want to patronize this shop.
