So, once again I drove to the University Place UPS store and they took my box. I asked if there are any restrictions on the box I ship something back in, they told me only if the box is too big then it is considered an oversize. Unless you want to be lied to and forced into buying their boxes out of convenience.

So I called to start the termination process. When I asked about our contract and how to discontinue they mislead us saying it was a 3 year contact as of 2010. Assuming we could end at any time since it was now 2019. I attempted to get a confirmation on our cancellation because I was suspicious on how they were acting trying to get us to stay. It took over a month and I was informed that because we did not send a certified letter last month to make it an official 90 days + notice. Now we are stuck with them for another 3 years. A good company would have not mislead us and gave us the info we needed or allowed us to discontinue services. After giving them the opportunity to reach out to correct there actions they said we are SOL, and they will hold us to our contract.

When I had to replace my hardware that they required at a hefty cost for the second time and still was having continuing problems with the equipment, being outdated, and the phones that were required with this system were over 10 years old, I was still having problems with cut-outs for an on-hold system...my customers were missing part or all of the message while on hold. I asked them if they could help? They said I needed to purchase a different hardware component. My agreement with Woodstock Media Group / On Hold Concepts, was to write a new script for my business yearly. They did not provide a new script, but still continued to bill the yearly amount and added, interest , with threats of sending it to collections, and also a letter from their attorney was received. If I ran my business with these kind of practices, I would be out of business! It is much cheaper and less hassle to do it yourself. Good Luck!
