I am writing this review to give insight into the man behind the business of Buzz Boom. Mine is an…read moreunusual story, (and a little long) but it is one that will remain with me forever. The short version of this review is to say that if you want someone with integrity, kindness & compassion, and creativity & talent, to help you, please give Buzz Boom your attention. My story starts with the loss of my adult daughter in November of 2025. My son-in-law and I postponed a celebration of life until February 2026 to allow out of state family and friends to attend. In January, I forced myself to go through the pictures to put together a slide show. Please know that I have scanned hundreds of documents over just the last few years, but unfortunately, this loss left me with a continual inability to stay focused. What happened next is that after almost 5 hours of going through three different scanners, trying and failing, I hit a wall of anxiety and just shut down. Out of exhaustion and raw emotion, I got on the internet looking for some business to put together this slide show for me. I could not find any business that advertised this specialty, but found Buzz Boom who advertised, "Creative partners with local non-profit organizations to develop and implement impactful digital experiences that engage and benefit their communities." In my mind that was as close as I could get to finding someone, so I called and left a voicemail. I do not recall what I said or how I said it, but the owner, Chris, ended up calling me back to say that this is not something he did, but he wanted to help me. I was overwhelmed with emotion, and we agreed to meet later that week. When we met, Chris took his time and went through all of the pictures with me so I could tell my daughter's story. He was sensitive and truly seemed interested in her life. He heard what I hoped to get from this project and assured me that he would have this ready for me in time. Not only did he keep me updated throughout the process, but when I received the finished product, I found that he added features that brought some of the poorly lit phots to life - literally! Using AI technology, it felt like he brought my girl back to life for just a little while. And then he added my requested song backgrounds so that they told the stories behind the pictures. This was not just a slideshow. This was an experience. It was beyond what I expected and completely out of reach of what I could have done on my own. Before we parted ways, Chris told me that even though this job was unexpected and was not part of his business platform, he was compelled to do this for me and may even do this again. That gave me so much joy. My daughter's memorial was yesterday. I was so excited to share my slideshow with a room full of people and was not at all disappointed at their reactions. It was a production that brought laughter and tears to pretty much everyone in the room and I received so many comments afterwards on how impressed they were with this presentation. I hope that anyone who reads my story will find the qualities they seek for their own project and to consider allowing Buzz Boom to tell their story.
