There were things the day of the wedding that did get missed. The usher boutonnieres were forgotten, the refreshment stand did not get put up, and the planner was not present for 2 hours of set up the morning of the wedding (my husband and I did it). I visited a few establishments at Trabert Ave on February 13th at approximately 9:15 am. I parked in an unmarked spot with no signage or cones. Rosemary Brown approached my vehicle, loudly instructing me that I couldn't park there. I was confused due to the lack of signage. When I asked her about alternative parking, she responded rudely. I suggest that Monte Carlo Productions consider clearer parking signage to avoid similar confusion for customers in the future that are shopping at other establishments in that public parking area. Will contact the establishment property management and or law enforcement for assistance to clarify where I can and can't park.

Not even sternos to keep the food hot.  Where is the quality?  Why put an event together and it was thrown together?  We try to patronize black owned businesses, but to present that poor quality is a disservice to us.  Then, on top of that, the emcee was a straight-from-the-hood woman with poor grammar that talked on and on about nothing.  Quite simply, jazz is classy music that attracts a certain genre of people.  The band played and moved as though they were auditioning or rehearing.  During the intermission, they presented spoken word.  Horrible.  We left in the middle of the poet's set.  They even allowed the photographer to speak, thanked his girlfriend, and solicited his services.  I will never recommend this establishment or "band."  A waste of my hard earned dollars, time and patience.  I will be sharing with all forms of social media to put the word out. First, let me be clear about one thing. The drinks themselves were good and the bartenders were fast. Our issue is not with the quality of the cocktails. Our issue is with the lack of transparency beforehand and the inaccurate statements made afterward in response to our review. In the owner's response she stated that she was not aware of our request for mocktails until after booking. That is not correct. We have text messages clearly showing that mocktails were discussed prior to the event. After the agreement was made, we were later told that mocktails would require an additional fee. Although we were ultimately not charged, we were told to purchase additional juices and supplies that ended up being unnecessary. We still have the receipts for those items. She also stated that the spill was caused by a leaking sink at the bar. This is another inaccurate statement. The bar that we rented for the event did not even have a sink. The spill occurred at the bar and the cleanup was done using napkins that we purchased for food service. When the bartenders left, those wet napkins were left stuffed underneath the bar and on the floor. We have photos that clearly show this. Another point mentioned in the response was attire. Our event had an all black dress theme, which was communicated in advance. We have text messages showing that the colors for the baby shower were shared before the event. Despite this, the bartenders arrived wearing pink shirts. Again, the drinks were good and service was fast. But when a business publicly responds to feedback with statements that are not accurate, that becomes a bigger issue than the original concerns. Accountability and honest communication go a long way with clients. We hosted a very special baby shower and simply expected professionalism and transparency throughout the process. Unfortunately, based on our experience and the response we received afterward, we cannot recommend this company.

I will be hiring Kaye for the next party, because she's the best we've had yet.
