Parking is easy up front. Peaceful, serene, warm, homey & inviting. This shop is kind of the main design studio & retail front for awesome clayware(?)/cookware/flameware. The retail being the smaller corner spot on the right. I never knew about such cool material in the kitchen until that random brochure at that one store led me down this rabbit hole. Perusing just briefly, a lady finally came around to greet me who also has a super friendly dog. We had great conversation over my new discovery and ended up getting 2 nice pieces. I mentioned how much of an eye for detail I am and I think she appreciated that. These pieces are hefty but rightly so & looking forward to trying them out in the kitchen and seeing how they evolve on the surface.

But when it was time to deliver we were then told we signed a contract that said we agreed to do counters with them too and had not even paid for the sink. They said, In fact we had only paid 65% of the total work we were going to do! Which is not true! We NEVER agreed to counters, ONLY cabinets! And they didn't even come with the handles! The sink estimate email Heather sent and details were almost 4x the original sinks estimate on the paperwork. They took our money and NEVER provide all the materials we paid for! We ended up going through another company and got counters, backsplash, sink and faucet for $1000 less than Aaron and Heather quoted us. They took our money and didn't care! Horrible experience!!

It was then direct shipped to my house. It was oversize and it took two plumbers one and a half days to install it. Then the problems began with the matte finish. I requested assistance and got a nasty letter from the boss, speaking to me like I was a high school dropout about the chemistry, etc etc. I think this is a family business and they cover for each other which is OK but the buck has to stop somewhere. These guys need a person who understands measurements and tolerances. If you order a drop in sink it has to fit the cutout or it was made wrong. They blamed the craftsmen. That is a cheap shot because any craftsman understands "It has to fit in the cutout".

wanted an out-of-the-ordinary sink for my (hopefully) soon to be completed kitchen remodel and,…read moreafter browsing for ideas at Pacific Sales, went looking online​ where i stumbled across the ARTISAN CRAFTED HOME website. was immediately drawn to the 36" Round Front Copper Farmhouse Sink (available in four finishes: dark smoke, Rio​ Grande, cafe natural, and matte copper). went with Rio​ Grande since that was a nice fit with the faucet and cabinet hardware i was already leaning toward. be aware that being copper, the sink does require some maintenance​ and needs to be sealed (a quick rubdown with a soft cloth and an inexpensive​ waxing compound available from ARTISAN​ CRAFTED HOME) every couple of months. according to the website, their farmhouse sinks are hand-hammered in 14 gauge, lead-free copper by 3rd generation coppersmiths, are TIG copper welded, and built to last a lifetime. not sure about all that, but i can tell you this: my new sink is gorgeous.

He did an incredible job and kept the house very neat, laying down drop-cloths from the front door to the bathroom each day and taping off the bedroom each day while sanding. He is a very kind and pleasant person to work with, and strives to get the project done well and make the customer happy. After days of finish coats and sanding, right before sealer application, we decided the finish wasn't what we were expecting (the product, not his application). He offered to apply another coat of a different style (2 days work, application + sanding) for free! I was shocked, no one operates like that these days. No one seemed to be able to work out a design that kept the architectural beauty of the rest of the main floor yet also addressed the many issues with the kitchen. Then the pandemic arrived and we put everything on hold. Last winter we hired Featured Kitchens and Bath to do a design and possibly do the remodel for us. Denise , their designer, worked through a variety of back and forth changes with us until we finally thought we had a design we really liked. At that point we contracted with them to do the renovation. We are so glad we did. Kris and his team are honest craftsmen and do beautiful work. During demolition a water pipe broke in the powder room, flooding the hardwood floor. Featured Kitchen and Bath replaced the floor at no additional cost to us. We went to Kauai for two weeks, leaving them access to our home. They are very reliable and trustworthy. The job is now done and exceeds our expectations. Featured Kitchen and Bath uses quality subcontractors. Their designs use quality brands and good materials. This is the second remodel Featured Kitchen and Bath have completed for us. A few years ago they designed and remodeled our master bath. We tore the master bath back to bare drywall, re-plumbed the bath and created a beautiful walk in shower. Kris and his team work hard to minimize the impact on the homeowner. We were living in the house the whole time they were working on the master bath. Our lives were interrupted but as minimally as they could make it. We know two other homeowners in our development who have used Featured Kitchen and Bath, both are pleased with their work. Had appointment April 21st to discuss the concept. She called the day before and said she couldn't find it on her computer but would be fairly easy for her to redo. I said no worries, when ready call me back to reschedule. No response back, I emailed her after 2 weeks, didn't get a response. After a month I contacted the owner, Garrett, and then the next day Bobbi contacted me and left a message saying she was sorry, it was unprofessional, she should have got back to me, if I still wanted to do the project call her back. I didn't call back that day, but the next day Garrett left me an email saying he was sorry and they prided themselves on communication. So I answered the email fairly promtly that day, which was May 19th, saying I wanted to continue and I would call Bobbi. I called to leave her message and her outgoing mail said she's out of the office till June 2nd. I left a message saying I would continue with the project even though I thought it was odd she never mentioned she was going to be out of the office when she told me the day before to call her back. Well, it's June 9th and I think it's pretty clear that Bobby doesn't want anything to do with it job for whatever her reason is. There was no unpleasantness in our first meeting or after so I don't understand why she would ghost me when this is a sizeable job for them to do. She never mentioned any difficulties with a job that could have put her off wanting to continue. I won't even go to the nursery to buy aplant or anything after being treated this way. Very poor business.
