They've got room dedicated to fantasy to mystery and literature. The folks that work there are some of the nicest folks are going to meet. Outgoing and knowledgeable. Friendly. They're right next-door to Winans Chocolate & Coffee, so it's really convenient to find a nice little walk, get yourself a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate, and then go in the back to the reading room between the two and sit down in the corner of the couch and do some reading.

However, they also had an almost new GE gas range top. Perfect for doing my beer brewing. And the price was 1/3 what I saw for clearance at the big box stores. They have lots of things to pick from but be careful and select cautiously. And pay attention to the price.

From the minute I walked in the door, I felt like I was bothering the guy behind the counter. I described what I was looking for, and he pointed to a product. I purchased it, and since this was my first visit to a shop like this, I didn't realize until later that he should have advised me about how much to take and how it might affect me. He did none of this. Merely barked, "Cash only!" I could have been on a street corner. It all felt very cold & impersonal. I could tell he couldn't wait to get me out of the shop. Horrible experience. I have since found a shop where I was treated with much more respect & consideration.
