He was very accommodating on fitting us in. Coach Ryan provided us a tour of the awesome facility and went through all the things to offer. We started outside on the driving range then working on our son IV's short game with chipping and sand traps. We then went to the private simulator room for swing analysis and recording. Later checked out the simulator bays upstairs This is an amazing facility and due to coach Ryan is very knowledgeable and helping our son with additional inputs to work on we are planning to have our son join the summer camp in a few years when the set up the stay over summer camp Thank you Coach Ryan and see you when we are in town again

I played Riverchase Golf Club in Grand Prairie today and was surprised to see the green fee had…read moreclimbed to $80. I hadn't played there in 2-3 years, and the last time I was there it was just over $60. A price increase of more than $15 raises expectations. The clubhouse staff were efficient but not especially friendly. I'd describe the service as average. The starter was about the same. Nothing bad, but nothing that matched the premium price either. The little things also reflected a lack of attention to detail. My cart was dirty and had trash left in one of the cup holders. The sand bottle was empty, so there was no way to repair divots. I also purchased a small bucket of range balls and found five that were visibly cut and should have been pulled from circulation. I striped my opening drive right down the middle of the first fairway. While waiting for the group ahead to clear, a player from the first tee nearly hit me with their drive. We couldn't have been more than 250 yards away. That's a player issue, but it's also the kind of thing a visible starter or marshal should help prevent. The greens and most of the tee boxes were in good shape. Unfortunately, the bunkers were below average, with several consisting mostly of bare dirt and washed-out sand. A few tee boxes were also washed out. Two holes were using "temporary" tee boxes, but they were in the exact same condition as the last time I played, so they appear to have become permanent. Both were overrun with crabgrass and dallisgrass. The biggest disappointment was pace of play. I never saw a course marshal, and the round took 5 hours and 40 minutes. That's simply unacceptable, especially at an $80 price point. Overall, I'd rate the experience 5 out of 10. Riverchase is not currently an $80 golf course. At around $65, it would be a fair value. Just a few miles away, Stevens Park typically charges in the mid-$60s and is consistently in outstanding condition. At the current price, Riverchase has work to do before it offers comparable value.

There are endless amounts of golf games to play in the extra large bays. This place is so much better than top golf. Air conditioned, indoor golf just might be the most fun you can have. The scratch kitchen has some 1611 sauce that just might be better than the amazing cane sauce. Wraps, burgers, pizzas, salads, fries and onion rings are all world class. Top notch establishment.

The only downside, and I'm not sure if this is something that they can fix but it's a big problem, is that booking a tee time feels impossible. I go online to their website and book as usual. But every time it says either, the tee time is unavailable or that I need to try again. Over and over and over. It's only with Tierra Verde too! All the other Arlington/DFW courses work fine. The only way I have been able to book a time is if I call at the start of the workday, but by then the tee time I wanted or even the decent times are gone. Only ones left are after 5pm, and even then, I've been charged for the full 18, but they tell me carts need to be returned by 7pm and that they'll only allow me to play 9 holes. Good course. Bad time management.

We had a teetime here around noonish on a Saturday in mid-April. This course was widely discussed…read moreamongst local peers and my friend as one of the better golf courses in the DFW area. Upon checking in and paying the $72 green fare, I had wonders about if the course lived up to the price. It kind of does but barely. The course is maintained pretty well although there's a few holes with a bit of wear and tear in the tee boxes and the green as a result of either poor shoes or mishandled clubs. Fairways are in excellent shape with the grass freshly cut. Some of the holes are a blast to play such as the 8th hole and hole 14 from what I can remember. Also the cart girl came by regularly to serve us beverages and keep us hydrated. Also, credit to the staff here for their customer service. One of the members took me in their cart to the end of the first hole where my teeing party was. This was due to me arriving about 15 minutes after the teetime due to getting stuck in traffic. While embarrassed, I appreciate their attitudes and getting me to my party quickly so I could play. While 72$ is steep for a Saturday, I would play here again next time I'm in the DFW area.
