FOOD POISONING!!!…read more This is a follow up to my previous review of this location. My mom and I decided to give it another try and see if they had improved their cleanliness. We visited the Danbury Rd location on Friday evening (March 21, 2025) around 5pm. My mom ordered a bowl with pork and I had a bowl with chicken. The chicken didn't taste quite the same, but I didn't think much of it. By Saturday afternoon I was belching a lot (which is not something I do) and I felt weak. By 11pm, I had to run to the toilet. It was a horrible night full of explosive &%#% and projectile vomitting -which I had never experienced before. I'll spare Yelp the gory details, but it lasted 3 days. This location was still dirty on the tables and other areas I had mentioned in my last review, but the kitchen looked ok. -I guess not. Yesterday I read an article listing the 3 dirtiest fast food restaurants in the country: Taco Bell, Burger King, and CHIPOTLE! It'll be a long time before I go there again. Beware.

I've been here four times already and each time is consistent. My only critique and not even being…read moreoverly critical is one of your employees was choosing how much food to give me as if he was making a 5 star entree sprinkling cheese and limiting my guac to almost a teaspoon. I told him no and he made my bowl properly. Other than that the food has been very good and consistent so far for chipotle ! I am glad it is here , and I hope it stays this way before I move. Great addition to the area . Also just to add it's very clean and I have never not seen it clean. So that makes the ambiance nice .

QDOBA Mexican Eats

Welcome to the December 2024 edition of catching up on reviews!…read more Let's start off by mentioning that of all the places my work caters from, this place is one of the most frequent choices. Because of this, I had actually had food from this Qdoba for years without ever paying a visit. Recently we had Chipotle open on the Wilton side of the town line in this area. But if you want to cater to people and would like your Mexican fix, choose Qdoba! Their quality is actually a good deal better than what you get at your average Chipotle. And you are given more to eat. Now, despite this being something I have eaten quite a bit, the only other Qdoba location I have actually come across is the one at the Philadelphia International Airport! And of course, because that was in Philly, I opted to have a cheesesteak over their Qdoba. So yeah... Anyway, this past Friday night was my first time actually visiting the restaurant itself, and because of that, I got to choose what I had actually wanted from them instead of what I am given. When deciding what to order, one thing that instantly came to mind was to have the brisket birria in there. To put it in my buyer's perspective, I just recently had birrias for the first time at a food truck in Waterbury and I honestly found myself wishing I had had them sooner. Actually, I was originally going to introduce myself to the birria taco at Point Break Tacos and would have if they hadn't closed down the week before I was going to do it. I got the birria in a cheese-crusted quesadilla (because we all need cheese in our lives, including moi), and then I also had white rice, the 3-cheese queso, tortilla strips, cilantro, and pickled jalapeños in there. I got sour cream to go along with it, grabbed a Mexican soda, and I was talked into getting the guacamole as a side by employee recommendation. This quesadilla is cut into quarters, and the tray they served it in can actually transform into a take-home box. Gotta say, these were pretty good. They still won't come close enough to completely filling in the hole left behind by Point Break, but for now they will do just fine if I need my Mexican fix after a night of treadmill running. The interior is also pretty cool-looking if you want to let your eyes wander around a bit.

Awesome fresh hot good food. It's always the same there is no varying quality. It's always good.read more

Another Wilton eatery I've been to that I haven't really gotten around to reviewing, so I guess…read moretoday was Press Burger's time because why not? This immediately caught my attention because this was the place that replaced Tom E Toes after it closed its doors back in 2020. Honestly, while I do miss Tom E Toes, I am glad this was the restaurant that took its place. It's basically your next step up from fast food, but the beef here has always been good whenever I've ordered from them. The people working there are always nice and will answer any questions I might have. It's also a very convenient place for those who are spending their day here in Wilton. My visits here have been almost exclusively while I was going to or from work. I usually pay quite a bit when I come here because I customize my meals, but that's part of the charm I've come to love about this place. It also helps that my customizations always make my meals from here extremely filling. For example, my burger today was a Build Your Own Golden Style Double (Golden Style meaning it is mustard grilled) with cheddar, bacon, cheese sauce, crunchy onions, chips, and BBQ Aioli, and my fries were Bacon Cheese Fries toasted in K-Town Sauce. May I just say that these were both yummy and satisfying! One thing I should note since I am looking at my receipt as I am writing this review, this is the first restaurant in the state that uses Zero Acre Farms Oil in 90% of its food prep and has been doing so for over 2 years (January 2024 was when they started this). I don't come often, but I will continue to come here as an option whenever the need arises for a good burger in Wilton.

Really nice area- delicious burgers. The fries are really good. Owner is always there, and that's…read morea good feeling.
