Kind of rundown but good gas prices. It really needs an total update. I've been coming for years but the pump/card reader screens are very old and not always working. I had to prepay inside with a card then when I needed a refund for part of the amount, I was charged an additional amount for what I pumped instead of getting a credit for the difference. Cheaper tea and coffee than the Dunkin Donuts right across and obviously the Starbucks (a few blocks away). However, be aware that these people are also cheap when it comes to safety of their customers or perhaps don't care. They do not have those carton holder thingies that you put your hot cup of whatever into in order not to get burned. Can you believe it? I have mentioned this unfortunate fact to two different cashier clerks of this gas station and both pretended to care and check if perhaps they did have those holder thingies which of course they didn't and they knew damn well they didn't. The best they could offer you was a piece of Bounty towel to hold your hot coffee or tea and off you go and hope for the best. Hoping you don't get burned while running with the hot cup across the highway back to your hotel is a skill that this gas station gifts you for free. read more

Bought a charger here last night, got back to my hotel directly across the street only to find out it doesn't work. Tried to return it this morning, in original packaging with the receipt, and the cashier refused. Kept saying that they don't take "this type" of return and that I was supposed to make sure the charger worked before I bought it (how would you like me to do that a) without opening it and b) without a power outlet, sir?) and that I'd have to talk to the cashier who sold it to me, who specifically said he was giving me a receipt in case it doesn't work. I don't know who that other cashier is, you're the one currently working here so am I supposed to stand here until his next shift? No thanks. Refusing to accept a return of a faulty product bought less than 12 hours ago, in original packaging with a receipt is not exactly good business practice and I certainly won't be back. I went there because there was a sign in the window to get an egg and cheese sandwich between 6am and 2 pm for 99 cents. I went in at 10 am and were told they were not working yet. Can you say Bait and Switch? I told them to take the sign down but off course they won't. The State of CT should care but I have lived here long enough to know they don't. On the bright side I was not charged extra to use my credit card. read more
