Just about 2 hours from either big city, it's the perfect middle stop. There are other options like QuikTrip on the other side, but I felt like changing it up. While this is a fine stop, it's a little tight in here. There were a decent amount of people but we felt more smushed in like an NYC bodega than a big wide middle-of-nowhere rest stop. Bathrooms were clean, snacks were plentiful, and it's a perfect spot to try to avoid some road trip junk food but eventually succumb to it!

When I asked about the discrepancy, instead of fixing the overcharge, Becky -- the owner -- told me not to "harass" her workers, even though I was calmly asking for the posted price to be honored. She refused to correct the charge, refused to help in any way, and wouldn't provide video evidence that could have easily cleared things up. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. After reviewing the situation, my bank agreed the charge was improper and refunded my money. A business that posts one price, charges another, and then refuses to take responsibility is not a business I can trust. The lack of transparency and professionalism here is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others avoid this place.

I often stop here for a restroom break and a drink or snack. It is easy to get in and out of and…read morevery convenient being right off both highways. They have a good selection for a convenience store. The restrooms are always clean and in good repair. The gas pumps are often busy and the way they are set up could be a pain getting in and out of. On my last visit I got an iced tea. The lids were questionable for fit and as I was getting into my car popped off. This caused a nice spill. I went back in and the cashier let me refill my drink and more importantly, gave me some towels to clean up what I could in my car. She could have just directed me to napkins which would have been pretty useless so I appreciate her stepping up with the extra service. After cleaning what I could and returning the towels, I knew I would need to run to a car wash to clean my floor mat. I asked where a close one was and instead of just directing to one, the cashier asked which direction I was headed and directed me to the one that was on my way. All around great customer service. Not something you generally expect at a busy convenience store, but very much appreciated. Her service will make me skip other places even if it means waiting a little just so I can do business here.

First of all it was really hard to get in to a pump - despite having several pumping stations they were all packed and cars were swarming to angle in for a spot. I was cut off a few times and I finally just sat and waited for a motorcycle to wrap up so I could pull in. Once I got in I figured my luck was about to turn over but the power to the entire gas station just randomly shut off as I got out of my car and it rendered the whole stop closed. I was pretty bummed because I do like Loves and it meant I was going to have to chance it on a low tank to the next town. The employee working was really kind though and told me where the next town over was and how to get there. Overall I hope to return and give this one another try. If anything it needs to be expanded and perhaps put in a generator!
