I didn't buy gas. My son and I were driving by this location and he saw the dinosaur that sits out front. He had a dinosaur in his hand and wanted to show the big dinosaur his little dinosaur. So we stopped and I let my son talk to the dinosaur and share that he has a little dinosaur . He wanted to go into the Dino Mart to see if they had more dinosaurs. We went in and there was nothing in sight for Sinclair merchandise. So we walked out. Very shortly after that a lady ran out after us and gave us a Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade for my son. He was super ecstatic and happy. And of course he had to show it to the dinosaur out front as well. The lady that did this was very, very sweet and thoughtful. "Excellent Prices, Out-of-Control Manager" This is perhaps one of the strangest visits I've ever had to any business. I like the cheap prices, and the pumps worked fine. So far so good. Then, I went inside to use the restroom. The restrooms were shut down and I asked the manager why. He became incensed and started yelling at me and told me to never come back again. He was especially angry that I would photograph the not-working bathrooms. I noted that I was a customer and in fact just filled my car with gas, but he insisted I was not a customer. I can't recall ever having a manager yell at me. I'm pretty sure this type of behavior is not authorized by the parent company. It will be instructive to see how the parent company responds. read more

Gayle and I were heading back to Genoa from Berkeley and we needed gas to complete our journey. I first wanted to get out of the Bay Area ASAP and once I cleared Vallejo towards Fairfield, the coast was clear. I'm not sure why this service station/mini-mart has "earned" 6 straight 1-Star reviews, but my experience was what I expected for fill-up, snacks, and potty. We didn't notice any out-of-control staff within our direct experience. Petrol pricing was a bit cheaper than this Sinclair's immediate neighbors, but at over over $6, it was hardly worth talking about, unless it's the 10c per gallon cash vs. credit card variance. Nevada IS cheaper, but really only by about 60 cents a gallon (at Maverick). I'm also not sure why at these prices, service stations bother with 9/10 cent pricing, but that's a global question. read more

The person behind the counter was awesome friendly and nice. Considering it's 10:17 on the Fourth of July - really impressive. The store is clean and lots of cold energy drinks for being up and driving for half the day. Also very cool that there is a nice clean bathroom for customers since all the fast food places have drive thrus open for food - but what do you do if you need to use the toilet? READ YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE LEAVING I never thought I had to write a review for a gas station, but I felt like this was necessary. I was in a rush and was distracted by multiple things so I didn't notice this until after. The "cashier" stated in the receipt is the manager so I am very disappointed about this experience. He overcharged me for 2 items, so I felt like this was intentional. I was also the only customer in the whole gas station during the time. He charged me for 4 Gatorade's when I had 3, then charged me for 2 Chex mix when I had only 1. This gas station is at a major stop, so if anything I would recommend pumping your gas and getting your snacks somewhere else. read more

I put in my CC at the pump, lifted the nozzle and selected the octane. The pump then started spewing gas all over and I was not squeezing the trigger. The old manager guy came out and started cussing me out, and I explained I had done nothing. He told me to never come back and to get the &*$) off his property. FOR WHAT? Because your pump malfunctioned? It had charged my card nearly $8 before he could get it turned off. I demanded my $8 back. I followed him into the store and he handed me the money and told me to never come back. Don't worry, I never will. Oh, and as I drove off he called me MFer and flipped me off as he put a yellow bag over the pump handle. When I walked in, the man behind the counter did not even have a mask on. When I was startled by this, I said that I thought he would be wearing a mask. He rudely told me I could just turn right around and walk in out. So I did without buying anything and took my business elsewhere. I wish I could give this place "Zero Stars" for a rating. read more

I don't know what the deal is I got diesel there on 10/08/20 and it was clear diesel is not clear I got a water bottle of it and took it in and showed them they said it was biodiesel I am not sure if it is there needs to be a sign stating so I took the sample to my dealership they never seen it looks like I am getting a system flush because I am not taking any chances read more

Yes. Out-of-Control Manager, they ruined my day, very very bad customer services. My husband was pumping gas, I went inside to use the restroom. I asked for toilet papers, they said by law they don't have to give customers toilet paper (not truth). They sell food/drinks in the store, and toilet papers for sale only. We had the long drive, we didn't bring any paper with us. It's the health issues (COVID-19) that I'm worry about. I told them by law, "Yes, you do." Then, they started to argue and yell at me and told me to leave the store and never come back. I've ever had feel so mistreated to any business. read more
