I was heading back to Hwy 29…read moreSouth, when I spotted this bright and shiny Valero gas station just before the on-ramp on Redwood Road. Hey, I carry the Valero gas card! It was around 915-930pm, and there were a few cars getting gas. The first thing I noticed was the cash and credit gas prices are the same. Then after my Valero card got accepted, the pump didn't give me the 10 cent discount. That's the incentive for using the Valero card at a Valero branded station. OMG, they got me. No discounts on gas. This station takes advantage of it's location right next to the freeway on-ramp. $5.49/Gal Reg was about avg that day, so no biggie. Better to get gas for a fairly long drive home. But next time, maybe I go elsewhere. Otherwise, this new Valero station has some nice features: - Star Certified Smog Testing Station - Repair/ Service garage - Snack Shop - Propane & Ice - Restrooms It's a average sized station. The islands aren't cramp, but I wouldn't tow a boat in there. Used to be a 76 Station.

Didn't get gas here, but hear me out! This review is long overdue…read more I was driving home late after a family gathering in Calistoga, when the tire pressure light went off on my console. It was extremely dark, my cell phone had died due to severe picture-taking at aforementioned family gathering, and there aren't any gas stations for miles down this damn road. As soon as I saw the Chevron sign, I pulled up in a panic. They had JUST closed, and the attendants had just locked up. Luckily, Hayley took pity on me, and turned on the air pump. Then, after watching me fail miserably at trying to pump air into my own tires, she took on filling up all four of my tires (turned out that ALL of them were dangerously low) while being incredibly friendly and understanding of my ignorance. If it wasn't for Hayley, I am not sure how far I would have gotten without blowing one or four tires. Hayley, you saved my bacon, and most likely the bacon of many other's. I hope a manager of some sort sees this review, because you truly went above and beyond your job duties. Thanks!

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. I have been coming here to shop since I was a…read moreyoung lad since I grew up in napa and it was so close to me I would always go whether it was for a bag of chips as a child or a bottle of tequila as a grown man. I have been shopping here for 15+ years I believe maybe even more or less I'm not sure how long they have been open but this was always my go to. Everyday after work for years I would stop by here on my lunch break or after work to buy their stuff since they had a lot of good choices. The owner Paul knew me and he would always say hi to me and so did the Hispanic lady but she was kinda rude and always staring at me in an uncomfortable way but the main one that hurt was the young man who would always ring me up Everytime I would come through to J mart to buy alcohol and cigarettes after a long heavy shift. This young cashier I don't know his name but he's always there would always be so nice to me and even called me his "bruddddaaaahhhh" (brother ) Everytime I went to purchase something . A few months ago I went in and was looking for a cheap drink so I looked at the little shot bottles the 99 proof ones I believe which are only likee 1 dollar and 80 cents maybe a little more. When I didn't find my debit card in my wallet and realized I could not purchase what I wanted about 4 dollars worth of alcohol I went back in the aisle and put the little shot bottles back. But I was getting starred at In a disrespectful way as of they thought I was going to steal . I would never be stupid enough to steal from that store in my freaking life are you kidding me ?!?! If they catch you stealing they take your picture from the surveillance footage and print it out and post it in the front therefore i would never be stupid enough to steal from there I wouldn't steal im general wtf. So I left that day when I couldn't find my debit card. I go back a few weeks later when I have cash and try to buy a mini shot bottle and a pack of cigarettes, however when I go to pay the young man who works there and calls me his "brudddaaa" (brother) every time I would go in looks at me and says " I can't sell to you because you stole my boss saw you ". I was straight up flabbergasted and felt so disrespected, even after I swore I didn't steal because I'm not about that or would be stupid enough to do that he still was convinced I was a thief, wtf!? And then when I told the cashier who didn't wanna sell to me " can I please see the security footage where it shows me stealing " his response was "why should I show you" I was livid and I mean livid after the thousands of dollars I speant on my vices and groceries at Jefferson market you are going to call me a theif when you have no proof and refuse to sell to me!? That Is so messed up, therefore be careful when shopping there because if you look suspicious or for whatever reason and they aren't feeling you they will be quick to misjudge you and make you feel like a piece of crap, that's why I say F U Jefferson market, Paul maybe if you'll are really worried about people stealing you should buy a sensor and alarm for the door that goes off Everytime an unpaid item or product from your store walks out that door, don't be a cheap owner and embarrass innocent costumers, lol so I guess my new go to liquor store is going to be Lawler's lol that's okay I'm good with that plus they have good food I hear and I have yet to try it screw you Jefferson market sorry not sorry,
