While parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours, the effort is well worth it. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by an inviting space, with separate rooms dedicated to various genres, allowing for easy browsing. There's a cozy couch positioned by a giant bay window which offers not only a comfortable reading nook but also a picturesque view of the square, adding to the overall charm of the bookstore. The selection of books is commendable, catering to a diverse range of tastes and interests. However, it's worth noting that the staff, though friendly, could benefit from more diversity. Nonetheless, their warmth and willingness to assist customers enhance the shopping experience. Also the bathroom was clean! Overall, The Reading Attic exudes a welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for book lovers.

Overall the layout makes sense and it's easier for me to bring the kids here than pay full price at B&N down the street and the experience is pretty comparable. I also like that you can call them and ask that they hold a book for you- great for Moms running low on time who need to get a book for their kids school project or required reading (speaking from experience here). The only con I will mention is what others have mentioned as well. Don't come here with books to sell assuming you'll get a lot of money for them. Come here with the books you were going to donate anyways. I do wish they had a better trade in program.

As an out of towner, I appreciated the postcards of the Atlanta skyline done by a local artist. Cool stuff to discover. The basement definitely warrants a trip, so head downstairs if you can. And then look up. It's a cool list of authors, one on each stair. Insta-worthy for sure. ;)

This is quite the hidden gem of a bookstore in Atlanta! This place feels very cozy and calming. There are countless books throughout the entire store sorted by genres.
