They immediately split, my little two took a left to the young adult and youth room and my teen took a right for non-fiction. They offer a great selection of all books! We loved the sitting areas with big windows that overlook Glover Park. We purchased two books and the gentleman working had great conversation with my teen and I as he rang up our purchases. We look forward to many return visits!

While parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours, the effort is well worth it. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by an inviting space, with separate rooms dedicated to various genres, allowing for easy browsing. There's a cozy couch positioned by a giant bay window which offers not only a comfortable reading nook but also a picturesque view of the square, adding to the overall charm of the bookstore. The selection of books is commendable, catering to a diverse range of tastes and interests. However, it's worth noting that the staff, though friendly, could benefit from more diversity. Nonetheless, their warmth and willingness to assist customers enhance the shopping experience. Also the bathroom was clean! Overall, The Reading Attic exudes a welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for book lovers.

Upon entry the place was well lit and buzzing with excitement for the author who was doing a signing. I wasn't paying close attention and didn't realize what it was at first, but there was so much animated conversation that I assumed it was a book club that was really enjoying themselves. It made the recovery from the free book cart mess easy to recover from. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to search for titles and authors I was looking for and were happy to add more books to my pile (*wink). The only downer was that the shelves had no obvious organization and it was hard to shop on your own. Nothing is labeled consistently and I couldn't tell where one section ended and another began. One section even had a pink sticky note with a hand-written label. The staff also didn't keep a proper inventory and half of books the computer said they had were no where to be found. Bottom line is that this place was welcoming and had good prices. They do not buy books but will offer in-store credit for books you no longer want. Check this place out.

Customer service was polite. Huge store selling books, games, toys, art kits, candy…read more They also purchase these things. I dropped off few movie CDs, pack of Dale Erhardt cards. I really didn't expect much. However, I left my items and they gave me a receipt, and promised to text me when the evaluation was done. My ID was checked many times So they did text me. Since I wanted cash and no store credit I earned $1.97 instead of $3.54. What I learned from this is, that bartering might work for some people, if they are trading in things. This is not for me. Store was clean and well organized. Next time I will donate things.

I sold over 3 bins of items to them. Not only did they not state how long it would take but the girl checking me just to the buying was not very kind. She seemed annoyed to be there. Both me and my family member dropped off our items 6 minutes after they opened and made plans to do things in the area thinking it wouldn't take long. We were in the area for a good while and my family member received a text that their items were ready. I believed that mine would soon be done to follow. A few more hours passed and I still didn't get a text so I called in to check. I was extremely disappointed when I was told that my buy hadn't been started. They stated it was because they were busy. Although, when I questioned if they were busy how were they able to finish my family members buy so quickly. They didn't have a response for me other than they had other buys from the day before that they had to finish. I still don't understand how my family members stuff still got finished if that was the reason. When I asked how much longer it would take they couldn't give me an answer. I do not live close so this was extremely upsetting for me because if they had a lot left over from the day before it should've been stated when I dropped it off. About two hours before closing I got my text so I had to drive and pick up my stuff. Once I arrived I was told I was getting a very small amount for items that were in brand new condition or to get 50% more value if I chose store credit. I really wish they updated their system and valued the items at a higher price point and not such a drastic change from cash to store credit. I only came here and settled for the cash because I am clearing up space for a move. If you want what your items are valued don't ever come here.

The amount of books in this store was unbelievable, and the variety was great. They have some bookmarks and trinkets for sale as well. At the back of the store was two little boys reading books. That was a nice sight for a sore eye. Seems like this is a very busy and popular gem in the middle of downtown Acworth. They host events like game nights, so check their website. This store is really worth the visit. I had the pleasure of talking to Stasey, the owner, she was super nice while answering my questions about what books I could sell or trade. This store is worth a visit. Maybe on my next visit, I will be introduced to the cat.

You can negotiate the price but so far when they've thrown a price at me I was happy to pay what they asked. They sell comic books, games, puzzles, DVDs and more. The shop is off Allatoona Gateway (used to be Glade Road) - behind Taco Bell, Pizza Hut & KFC. Plenty of parking - the shopping center is not usually busy. The owners are friendly, fun and helpful.

I asked for assistance after three salespeople walked past me at customer service. The salesgirl looked at the same places I'd looked. When she asked her coworkers for help, they said no. Yes Amazon sells it for a lot less and the sections on Amazon can be better...but not always... For example if you're looking for hardcore literature Like Ann Radcliffe or Horace Walpole then Barnes and Noble is the place to go. Amazon has it as well but their selection is sketchy...they may not offer you the best edition out there. If you're looking for Business books then Amazon is a better option because I don't think this particular Barnes & Noble's business books selection is as good as it could be. On the other hand they have a pretty good manga and young adult selection....I imagine those books are more popular than say Originals by Adam Grant.....They had signed copies of John Green's latest Turtles All the Way Down....and even though I said I wasn't going to buy anything... I ended up taking home Haruki Murakami's book Absolutely on Music: Conversation with Seiji Ozawa. (Ozawa is my favorite living conductor so I couldn't resist even though Amazon has it for $4 dollars cheaper but I figured heck I want this and I want it now...) Anyway now a days when people chose books over all other forms of activities such as the internet, Facebook or even Yelp....it's always a good thing....
