    I have lived in my apartment for about a year and a half now and I am very pleased with it. The kitchen, bathroom, floors etc. all top notch and up to date. Shana Siegel, the property manager, is very helpful when it comes to answering any questions or getting maintenance to fix anything that is wrong with the apartment. So far I have not had any problems with my apartment but if I did I can take comfort in knowing that they will be handled in a timely manner. So I give Sinatra 5 stars and if I could give more stars forShana I would!

    I have been a tenant for Sinatra Real Estate for about 3 years now. I am very happy with them. The staff is always helpful. The work orders are dealt with the same day or the next day. Any issues ilI have had, are dealt with immediately and with a friendly attitude. Their offices are located on main street which is pretty convenient for me. They also have an awesome website where you can fill out work orders, pay rent and look for available rental properties. The after hours services are a little dicey, which is why I am giving them 4 stars. As far as rental companies go, I think they are the best.

    letter with what needed to be fixed from Rental Assistance

    Do not be fooled by the 5 star ratings. They are most likely paid reviews. I am on Rental Assistance Corporation (RAC) and they scheduled an inspection on Sep. 8, 2021. I got the letter on the 9th telling me there were 5 items that needed fixing. I called Sinatra's office (since there is no property management in the Linda Lane apartments anymore) and got an answering machine as always. I left a message explaining they they need to contact me about repairs that needed to be done within 30 days. I didn't hear anything from them. On Sep 27 I saw the maintenance guy by the buildings boiler room. I stopped him, relayed this information and he said he had another appointment in the morning and he would stop by later. He never came back. On the 28th I saw a group of people wandering around the property and the last time I saw that was when the old owners were selling to Sinatra. I approached them and inquired if they were looking to buy and they denied it but ... I'm not so sure ... so I added good because this property has health issues and is falling apart. I finally located the person who worked for Sinatra and explained the situation and he acted all noble and said that isn't right .. don't worry I'll take care of it ... let me deal with this and I'll get back to you later today. .... again .. it was morning and I wasted my whole day waiting and no one showed up of course. If I can find a way to add pictures to this I will add a lot. I will show what the inspection found as well as the list I was given. Its getting to the colder months not too ... which means I have to deal with the poor heat (supposed to be 68 but I'm lucky to get 66 if temps are around freezing 32 but usually its in the low 60s) in a "750" dollar a month POS apartment. Now things are bad ... The slum lords will not fix my apartment and after 12 years it looks like I'm going to be forced on the streets because of these scumbags ... With covid .. its very hard to find a 1 bedroom apartment for the limit that Rental Assistance gives you and apartments are so rare at the moment. I have been looking for an apartment since they tried to raise my rent to 750/month in July to start in September. They cant do their jobs so they didn't get the paperwork to Rental Assistant until I called them about 40 times and had to go to their physical office (where a neanderthal vulgarly threatened me and forced me to leave before I could even talk to anyone about the issues causing me to file a complaint and police report) At least they were forced not to raise my rent until November because of their lack of ability to take care of their obligations... bet for sure if even once in the 12 years I lived there if I didn't take care of my responsibilities the would be suing me in an instant. (though Sinatra has only owned this shithole for about 5 or 6 years) Now I'm at the point where Sinatra has 9 days to complete all the work and get the paperwork back to Rental Assistance or they will break the contract with Rental Assistance. They will no longer get Rental Assistance's portion of the rent. 30 days after that if they still haven't dealt with their responsibilities. They will wont get rent but I will be told I have to move. That means I will have 30 days to move or I will loose Assistance and have to start over again (It took me 4years to get it the first time). That's 69 days from today ... basically 2 months .. I have been looking for 3 months already and have not been able to find anything .. it sucks that because if these scumbags I'm going to end up on the streets. Don't RENT from these scumbags. It will not turn out well for you.

    They don't take care of their properties and if something doesn't work, like an oven, they never fix it.

    BHR is best known for providing rental assistance (Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers) provides a…read morewhole range of affordable housing resources. Their HCV waiting list is closed, but that doesn't mean there isn't a range of services for the community to take advantage of. You can walk in any time to access any of their services, but if you're coming in to talk to a HCV housing specialist about your rental assistant, calling ahead is always greatly appreciated. There's free parking behind the building and it's less than a block from the Summer/Best metro station. Come right in, sign in at the security desk, and the two nicest receptionists you will ever meet will take care of you. Housing Resource Center - two rooms of computers, exclusive apartment listings, telephones and a dedicated full-time staff member, Synta, to help people look for housing. Synta is knowledgeable about emergency housing, accessible housing, senior housing, family housing, or whatever you may need. When I volunteer in landlord-tenant court, I refer my clients, who have just been evicted from the apartments, to Belmont's Housing Resource Center. The best case scenario for my clients is usually that they will get a little more time to before the marshalls remove them, but that doesn't change the fact that they are on the brink of homelessness. Being about to refer them to Belmont makes a huge difference in how both the client and I feel walking out of the courthouse. Foreclosure Counseling - Belmont offers FREE foreclosure counseling for homeowners that are at risk of or in the midst of a foreclosure. I don't think there is another agency in town offer this service for free and Belmont has some of the only certified foreclosure counselors in the state. Colden and Anthony do a great job and have relationships with the folks doing loan modifications at various institutions. Homeownership Programs - Belmont has a FREE home-buyer education workshop which will satisfy the requirement that many banks have for participation in first-time homebuyer programs. Don't go paying for a class somewhere else because the trainers at Belmont are incredible and have ton of experience. They can also help you with matched-saving accounts for buying a house or starting a small business. Property Management - Belmont manages quite a few affordable housing properties throughout WNY including senior housing, family housing, and housing for adults with disabilities.
