They are completely understanding to my needs, communication is great and keep everything smooth running. Jeremy is the best, he helped me with my issues and very professional! Buffalo management group ... Hmmmmm worst outfit in Buffalo. They want everything plus your body parts, yet they have dirty laundry facilities, dirty hallways, bed bugs in apartments, they have older people with barking dogs that poop and no pick up. Yet they have problems following through promises they make in the lease. This by far was my worst renting experience ... Left Embassy over 5years still have no issues that Buffalo Management they are the issues. Also have friends that lost jobs during COVID and Buffalo management group got pd from the State of NY and have sent friends of mine to collections to double collect!!! That's against the LAW !! I have lived in two BMG apartments over the past 8 years, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the apartments, my landlord, and the staff. I lived in the Elliot and the Mayflower - both buildings had very clean and well kept common areas (lobby, elevator, hallways), and both apartments were beautiful and well kept with old-time charm maintained in the doorways, flooring, etc. I would 100% recommend either of these buildings to anyone looking to rent for a reasonable price in the city. read more

Management here is incredibly rude, and Victor was borderline harassing on multiple occasions. Banging on my door, telling my friends they would follow them into my apartment. There are too many stories to go into detail, but all I can say is I will never recommend this company. Even my attorney had some words for them. There are much better apartments in the city of Buffalo. read more

DO NOT LIVE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they stole our security deposit and said we did not clean when we had a professional cleaning company come in to clean. also, we had other people including myself and husband clean that apartment. it looked ten times better than when we moved in.. and we got over $460 taken out of a $750 deposit. they said it was because of dog hair... well then take it out of the $850 i had to pay you for having a pet there over the past 2 years of living there.. and the management is so incredibly rude that i will write every review possible to prevent anyone else from going through what i am going through trying to get my money back. DO NOT LIVE THERE!!!! DONT DO IT. you have been warned. read more

Well, the longer I've been living in my place, the more I appreciate it. The management has really stepped up their maintenance game since last Fall. As I may have noted before, BMG has really good solid buildings and they screen tenants carefully, so I can truly say that I have great neighbors. I love having my utilities included in the rent -- one payment per month, easy. They allow pets, for a fee, which is great as many places don't allow them. My daughter lives in a different BMG building, a very large one, and she, too, has good neighbors, and her building has a gym and a really fancy laundry area, even a table tennis table by the washers and dryers. Her basement is clean and bright, and her storage area is huge. And there's a special room for bicycles... also, what's kind of neat is that after you've been here a while, there's a small fee but you can move into another of their buildings without any hassle. So,give them a call when you're looking for a place to live. They have a large "fleet" of buildings to choose from. read more

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT -- My parents are disabled and have lived at the Barrington Residential complex for one year. When they moved in, a woman named Angela who was very nice and accommodating to them was the property manager. As of four months ago, a new property manager, Mary (used to be the manager at a local bar), has made their lives a living hell at least twice a month. Constant letters harassing them about their dog (under 20 lbs.) and clearly discriminate towards the disabled. One of my parents is also foreign-born, and have been made fun of by Mary for not speaking proper English. Do not move here unless your life depends on it! read more

I have lived here for two years. There are a lot of college kids and younger kids that live here. It tends to get loud with parents who are too lazy to walk outside and get their kid. The walls are super thin. You can hear people either above you talk, walk, and pee. There are 6 units per building but only one set of washer and dryers. It takes two dryer cycles to even dry. It costs almost $3.50 just to do one load of laundry. Some other people are not considerate and will leave their clothes in the dryers for 2+ hours. The lease states 2 parking spots for the 2 bedroom apartments...not so true. There are 12 spots for 2 buildings. Many times we have to park farther away due to too many cars. If another tenant has a stench in the apartment...it will waft into yours. The bathrooms are yellow, pink, or blue. That means the tub, tiles, sink, and toilet. I moved in and steam cleaned my carpets...they came up with dirt in a room that no one walked in unless they had socks on. The kitchen floor was sticky and there was a layer of something on them. they went from gray to white after I scrubbed. The stove and fridge were never moved so there was dirt and debris under them. Since the 2 years I've been there, there has been 5 managers. It takes multiple attempts to get something fixed. They give less than 24 hours notice if they are going to enter your apartment. Usually during the day which is inconvenient if you work a 9 - 5 job. Glad we moved. They also hiked the rent by $50 a month. Not worth it at all. read more
