When we've had to change appointments or come in for emergency bracket repair or replacement, it's never been a problem. The office has always made time for us. I could write a book on the entire process from start to finish on all the reasons Dr. Fotovat is the right choice for your child's (or your) orthodontic needs. We really appreciated his measured approach with our boys who had very different orthodontic needs. He checked our boys every six months for a couple of years before determining the time was right for them to begin their orthodontic journeys. Our older son's teeth were fairly straight, but he had a bit of an overbite that needed correcting. He only needed one phase with the braces starting toward the end of middle school and was done by the end of his freshman year in high school. Our younger son had a multitude of issues from overcrowding to crooked teeth to a major underbite. Dr. Fotovat worked on him in two phases, beginning when he was eight years old. After completing the first phase which included expanders and one round of braces, he waited to start the final phase until his jaw growth slowed down to ensure the best possible outcome. I called the office and spoke to the sweet and friendly Jennifer and explained our dilemma/drama. She spoke to Roger Lim and I was asked to take my niece in ASAP. As soon as we got there we were greeted and welcomed in the nicest manner and were in and out within 20 minutes. Dr. Lim took the bracket off and cut the wire down and gave us some wax to cover the end part of the wire. I had a very happy niece who could now eat and be her usual self. I've taken some time to reflect before sharing my experience with this clinic, as I had hoped for a…read morebetter outcome. When I first walked in, everything appeared professional, and the doctor seemed knowledgeable, which led me to trust the clinic for my treatment. Previously, I had an unpleasant experience with another company that straightened my teeth but caused issues with my bite, leaving my back teeth unable to close properly. The goal of my treatment was to fix that bite. Dr. Waldman introduced me to a new treatment using 3D-printed custom braces, which I found exciting, especially since it was priced similarly to traditional braces. However, from the start, I faced issues with the treatment. The custom bite turbos kept chipping and cracking, leading us to remove them. Later, due to nighttime teeth grinding, I severely wore down my front teeth, which the doctor did not notice until I pointed it out. He prescribed a night guard, which helped protect my teeth. I will also be adding pictures showing the state of my teeth at the start of the treatment and right after they were removed at the office, before the doctor shaved them and made them look normal, to highlight how much of my teeth had been ground down. The treatment duration ended up being much longer than expected--almost two years instead of the 14 months initially suggested. Additionally, the retainer for my upper teeth was made incorrectly, causing discomfort and misalignment in one area. Despite my concerns, the staff assured me that it was supposed to hurt, which led to one tooth becoming crocked. Fortunately, they fixed it with a new 3D-printed retainer by my demand and convincing them i'm not imagining it and it's not normal. I also have pictures showing the incorrect retainer they gave me, which caused discomfort and misalignment of front tooth, I will also include pictures of the problem itself, the difference might not be that big, but I felt and saw it. Even though the treatment was lengthy, the final results didn't fully address my concerns. My bite still didn't feel right, and after the treatment, my back 7th teeth almost had no contact. Additionally, my front upper and lower teeth were touching when they shouldn't, worsening my TMJ condition. I ultimately stopped wearing the retainer, as I didn't know what to do and didn't get any response from the doctor, my TMJ improved as a result, but my teeth shifted. I tried reaching out for assistance after completing the treatment, but I didn't receive any response. I didn't get any responses to any of my further questions and concerns after my installment plan was paid off. I will be adding all of these pictures in the hope that this helps others make a more informed decision. Every experience is unique, and I think it's important to consider all aspects when choosing a treatment plan.

What was especially concerning to me was that the office later claimed they had already started work on my case before I had even signed the agreement they themselves said needed to be signed within 48 hours. In my opinion, beginning "treatment preparation" before a signed contract is finalized feels highly inappropriate and raises serious concerns about their business practices and financial policies. When I tried to resolve the issue, the office refused to refund me and fought the dispute the entire way. The process became extremely stressful and time-consuming. I ultimately had to go through Chase, and after reviewing everything, Chase resolved the dispute in my favor and credited me back the full amount. My advice to anyone considering this office: STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH AND SANITY, THEY MADE ME SUFFER FOR MONTHS WITHOUT EVEN STARTING A SINGLE TREATMENT!
