After 4 different plumbing companies misdiagnosed a "normal" city water meter movement as a leak and all 4 recommending a costly repipe, I can Sin City Plumbing for a 5th opinion. The other companies recommending a repipe didn't make sense since none produced visual evidence of a leak. Phil came out initially and was super helpful and knowledgeable and the first to opine that no leak was found and told me to check with water department to make sure meter was not malfunctioning first. I took his advice and glad I did. The water department confirmed my meter "rocking" (not turning) was a normal occurrence in some meters. LVVWA water dept said my water usage history did not indicate a leak at all, but there was a higher than normal water pressure reading going to my house and recommended pressure valve. I had one, but it failed-- my pressure valve needed replacing. Called Sin City back to replace pressure valve and some other plumbing fixtures. Uri came out and took care of everything, quickly and at fair price. He also was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Once the valve was replaced, what do you know-- the water meter stopped moving --indicating that the "rocking" was caused by water pressure, not a pinhole leak! Very impressed with this company. Came out a few times at landlord's request, always gave inflated prices for easy jobs that would take 5-10 minutes. $200 to snake a sink? It's robbery. I called this company at 10am on June 3rd, 2026. I had a water pipe that feeds my irrigation develop a leak. I called Sin City Plumbing and asked them for an estimate. They stated that they would not be able to give me an estimate until they looked at the scope of the repair, which I understood. They said that the Technician would be at my home between 12-4pm to provide an estimate for repairs. I waited for the Technician for 4 hrs, postponing other things I needed to do. I called them back at 4pm, only to be given an excuse of they ran into an emergency, and wouldn't be able to come til later in evening, but they could not give me a new time for arrival. I asked them to cancel the appointment, and let them know I would not be doing business with your company. I asked why I wasn't told of the delay, and I was apologized to, but not given a suitable resolution. It seems that when you need a plumber for a repair, it's best to look elsewhere. We had a plumber come to check out a problem we were having and he completely misdiagnosed. He said the sound we were hearing was coming from our fridge. It would be $1,600 to fix. It didn't seem to us that that was the problem. So we thanked him and he left. When water company sent a text saying we had a leak, I called them and they referred me to their recommended plumbers from their website. We chose and called Sin City come and try to diagnose the problem. Diego came out, listened to the problem and fixed it! It turns out it was our auto refill on our pool! Employees who came out to fix a valve were very rude and treated my family like they were ignorant. Quoted a price and then said if we did not fix the valve and the main line now it will go up $1000 if the main line was leaking after the valve fix. I asked but you are still here when it is checked. They said well very rudely that penalty is for not saying yes and do both right now is why the price went up. I was so confused because they are still working on the same job. And they said well plumbing is expensive. Come to find out they were here a year ago patching what they fixed last year and that's where the leak is now their patch it never was done correctly in the first place. read more

Hired by our community to do exterior plumbing repair work on a bunch of the buildings and homes. Sin City didn't complete what they said they would and actually damaged more things in the process. Community fired Sin City, and we hired another company to correct Sin City's sloppy work, damages, and complete the job. We had paid Sin City a 50% deposit upfront & they sent letters threatening to file liens against the individual homeowners' properties if the other 50% (for work they didn't complete and do properly) wasn't paid. Community filed complaint with NV State contractor's board which ruled in the community's favor. Sin City had to pay back some of the 50% deposit to the community, and was fined by the contractor's board. Sin City also had to send written notice to all the homeowners retracting their threat to file liens against each homeowner. read more

After investigating they did work for the community I live in and was hired by the HOA. Them threatening to lean my personal home because of the HOA possibly not paying their bill is an unwarranted and illegal scare tactic.
