Stepping up to the counter I was greeted with a friendly smile from the young lady behind the register. I asked her a few questions about sides and food which she was able to inform about. I decided to go with the "Daily Special", as stated by the sign next to me, and go with the jalapeno and cheddar cheese burger with sweet potato fries. I sat myself at a high-top against the wall so that I could observer the restaurant. The young lady brought out my beverage and told me she will be bringing me my food as soon as it's ready. As I sat there waiting I noticed that one of the A/C vents had a heavy build up of condensation which dripped down to the floor creating a small pool of water. I noticed another lady that worked there, maybe the chef or manager, had a smile on her face and stopped by all of the tables to speak with the customers. All of the tables except mine were greeted. In the beginning there were 8 people including myself and more slowly came in which kept the young lady busy at the register. The more senior employee brought some drinks to the larger table, these looked like refills, but did not notice me with my empty glass. Finally after 21 minutes my medium well burger came out. The flavor was not bad and it filled me up. The flavor however did not taste like a juicy burger you would get a five guys or off the grill. I was not very impressed impressed by the quality of burger I received for the amount of time it took. I may give this place another try but will not be getting the burger. They seem more like a salad or maybe a sandwich place. Who know's they may even drop by my table next time to see how my visit is going. I cannot give a thumbs up or down on this visit. While we were at the ceremony, the food was delivered on time, they set the pans into the steam tables for us. It was delicious! EVERYONE was commenting on how good EVERYTHING tasted. We had ordered Mediterranean chicken, pork loin, roasted garden mixed veggies, roasted asparagus, truffle mac and cheese, rice pilaf. The sauces and gravies were smooth and richly flavored. The presentation (even in the pans) was very appealing. Job well done! My surprise is that nothing had dried out, or become soggy, all the meat was tender and juicy, the veggies were not overcooked. The quantity was almost double what was needed. Lots of happy leftovers, there was a feast the next day too.
