I called again today and I was told the driver has the ticket, but they don't come to my suburb very often so it probably isn't a priority! This is a horrible attitude. Is there someone at LRS who can make it a priority? LRS was willing to come out here to deliver it, make some revenue, but they don't care to pick it up? Is the driver in charge and he gets to go where he wants? I ask that someone who cares at LRS get involved to resolve this promptly. There are neighborhood kids going in there since it's been here so long. This is now a hazard LRS has put on my property.

Oh this was going downhill fast. Those ridiculous boxes, I didn't want to be that trashy girl next door that everyone whispers about when they snag their mail so something needed to be done. Pronto. Once again the Chamber of Commerce saved the day and pointed me in the direction of the recycling center. It's centrally located, and close to where I live so I stopped at the information desk and asked where the drop off was. A woman inside smiled and told me that outside, near the gas pumps is the drop off. I pulled up slowly thinking it was just me and I could do what I had to do, but there is surveillance and an employee there for assistance. I'm not one to let others do all of the work for me and my junk so I helped out, who knows if that's the rules. He was funny about it and told me I was strong. It was cardboard, the weight was nothing! Within minutes my car was cleared, my garage free of cluttered recyclable waste and it was done. All for FREE. You can't beat that. Well that was fun, and I'm glad to know that I am NOT part of the 2% of the population that are hoarders. Phew!

As for all you " I showed up 10 min to close and they turned me away" it is well known you need to show up half an hour before close and be pulling OUT of the lot at closing time. These people work hard and want to get home to their families just like everyone else, not wait for you to empty your truck over 45 min until 5:30 and complain about being rushed.
