Accelerated Waste Solutions is supposed to pick up trash 5 nights a week at my apartment complex…read more They are TERRIBLE. I put out trash less than once a week, and they very frequently fail to pick it up. To add insult to injury, they're also liars. They falsely market a "resident reliability rebate" if you report 3 missed trash pickups in a month. They highlight the guarantee/rebate with bold text, capital letters. And it's all a LIE! Policy on their website states "You may be eligible for the RESIDENT RELIABILITY REBATE, which means, that if (you) the Resident Report 3 Missed Pickups or Service Concerns in a Calendar Month, we will REBATE/PAY (YOU) THE RESIDENT $5 for the inconvenience!" I had 7 missed pickups in December. Filled out their missed pickup form for six of them. No $10 check came. I called them in February to ask about my rebate (which hadn't come automatically). They assured me they would get it issued right away. No check came. I called them in March, to ask about my rebate check which hadn't come. They responded that a case had been opened, but it had been incorrectly closed with no payment issued. They said the employee had left. They said they'd get the check issued right away. No check came. I called them on April 14, to ask again about the rebate check. They apologized, assured me they'd get it issued right away. No check came. It's now May 3rd. It's been almost six months. There's no excuse. Accelerated Waste Solutions is incompetent. Their only job is to pick up trash, and for years they've reliably failed. They're also liars. No reputable apartment complex should hire them, unless they want very unhappy residents. Their horrible track record is a running joke at our complex. But our staircases and apartments also stink like rotting trash and feces from diapers for days, as a result of their gross incompetence. People literally move out because they're so bad. Their response to this complaint, filed via Better Business Bureau, was: "We apologize for this Service Concern. Please let us know the following information so we can help this resident. *Name of the Apartment Complex *City and State of the Apartment Complex *Unit and Bldg Number for Resident *Name of Resident Although the Resident Reliability Rebate Program is discontinued, we will honor any previous pledge. As well as investigate the current service for this unit if we service the community. Thank you for your speedy response to help this resident." My response was: Your response is incompetent, dishonest, and disgusting. BBB provided you my name and address with the initial complaint. LEARN TO READ The Resident Reliability Rebate Program was discontinued since my last call on 4/14/22? WHY, BECAUSE SOMEONE WAS FINALLY HOLDING YOU ACCOUNTABLE, AND FORCING YOU TO PAY OUT $5 AFTER YOU MISS TRASH PICKUP 3 TIMES IN A MONTH LIKE YOU PROMINENTLY ADVERTISED AND PROMISED? The Resident Reliability Rebate Program is still prominently featured on your website. Doesn't say anything about being discontinued. I even provided a direct link in my original complaint. SO YOU'RE A LIAR. OR YOU'RE DOING MORE FALSE ADVERTISING. BOTH ARE IN-CHARACTER FOR YOUR COMPANY! Your business is horrible. You're failures at picking up trash (not exactly a challenging job). And you lie repeatedly. FAIL TO PROVIDE PROMISED SERVICE + LIARS = SHOULD BE FIRED BY CUSTOMERS AND GO OUT OF BUSINESS I'm sick of my apartment smelling like rotting trash and decomposing feces in baby diapers from my neighbors' trash. That's what I've enjoyed this week. And many times, as a result of your gross incompetence. Make that check $15, not $10. You've already missed 4 of 5 trash pickups in May! And it's only May 6th! Their response back was: NO RESPONSE. NOTHING. Because they're an incompetent and dishonest company.
