I had a leak out side where the water is coming from the city to the house. There is underground place where the main water line comes to the house. There is a connection between the city and the house. I called Simpson Plumbing, the plumber (forgot his name - i think it was Brandon), He came out and checked and called me to tell me that it will be around $789 to fix the leak. He made a very professional invoice and explaining everything. That area where the connection between the city and my house was full of water. I am not sure how he could tell where the leak was coming from, because he didn't take his time to take all the water out. But I wanted to get 2nd and 3rd advise. So I called 2 other plumbers. The 3rd plumber that came out, he took his time to take all the water out of the area to see where the leak is at. And we found out that the leak is from the City side, not our side. So I called the city and they came out and fixed the leak. My question for Simpson Plumbing was, how could you tell where the leak was coming from without taking all the water I would have paid this company $789 to fix a leak that wasn't even from my side. read more

I had a water hammer problem that I thought could be due to some earlier work on a shower faucet done by another plumber. I didn't feel comfortable using the same people again, so I called Simpson. Brandon showed up on time, pulled the part out, noticed it seemed to be too tight and called Delta about the part. He then asked when my home was built and told me the part installed was for an older home. He had Delta mail the correct part to me at no charge because it was under warranty, and told me to give him a call when I got it. I gave him a call when it arrived, he showed up and put it in, and it solved my problem. The price was very reasonable, and I even paid him a little extra because he was an honest and hardworking dude (I respect that). I liked the fact that he was knowledgeable and picked up on something that other plumbers missed. He could have cheated me- I'm the least handy guy on earth- but he didn't. He was a straight up honest dude who knew what he was doing and fixed my problem. He will get my business as long as he is in business. read more

This company is fantastic. From Nicole in the office handling the administration and billing to the plumbers, Brandon and Adam. Just had a new faucet fixture installed in our bathroom this morning and we are very pleased. Our home was built in the 1940's and we wanted to keep the original sink. We supplied the new fixtures, explained what we wanted completed. Brandon completed our estimate and Adam completed the work. There was no confusion on the price or work to be done. Adam was accommodating of my pets, the bathroom being mid construction, and our needs to maintain the integrity of the original sink. I really appreciated his promptness (early arrival to the appointment), friendly demeanor, and cleanliness. Adam cleaned up after himself to the point where you would not have known a plumber was in our home and his appearance was professional. This company also uses a clear sealant so no caulking was visible on the exterior of the fixtures. We will be using them again and I highly recommend them. read more

I want to send a HUGE shout out to the team of, Simpson Plumbing. A few weeks ago we requested for them to come out and assist us with a small leak in our upstairs tub. This is too long of a story to share what occurred, but Simpson plumbing was called back the following night as huge flooding occurred straight through to our first floor. The owner and team showed up, determined the problem and were so courteous and helpful. The entire project took a little over a week however, they set up assistance from a Restoration company to assist us in drying and getting ready for the repairs. They worked with us every step of the way and didn't even charge us for all of the work they did. I may not know much about plumbing, but I do know SIMPSON will be our GO TO for any and all issues in the future! Thank you guys from all of us at the Smith house! 06/21/15 UPDATE - after my last post, the owner reached out to me and explained how they are a small, family owned company which is closed on the weekends. They offered a credit to a future job which was much appreciated. I can also appreciate the need to balance work and home, and with this have changed my rating to something more neutral. 06/13/15 The faucet in the backyard had a leak so I contacted them about coming out. Granted it was a Saturday but they indicated they couldn't have someone come out until Monday. I couldn't believe they wanted me to wait 48+ hours to fix a leak - especially since the hours listed on Yelp indicated they were open from 6am to 9pm 7 days a week. I used to use Tiho's Plumbing and, with his passing last year, was looking for a replacement plumber. This company is definitely NOT the one to call if you have an emergency. read more

We had an unusable master bath toilet and Simpson Plumbing technician Taylor came out to diagnose the situation free of charge. He was very professional, courteous, and efficient. I was very appreciative that he volunteered to remove his work shoes outside the front door without being asked. that was very polite and courteous. We decided to have a new toilet installed the following week. We had to reschedule an appointment and the office was very understanding and accommodating. Taylor came back on the day scheduled and quickly installed our new toilet to our complete satisfaction. I will definitely recommend Simpson Plumbing to everyone. Great customer service!! We called Simpson Plumbing to fix a kitchen sink leak, slow drain, and to replace a garbage disposal. SP was very prompt and didn't charge a fee for coming out to look at our kitchen, both great pluses. While there was some confusion with a new technician, Brandon, the owner, personally called to get everything fixed and offered us a full refund! He was very supportive and helped us to understand everything. It is so important to feel that one can really trust the people coming in to your home, and Brandon and Nicole went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and earned our trust! My water heater pilot light quit working, so I went to Simpson Plumbing's website and submitted a service request late Saturday. The next morning, Sunday, I got a reply and the plumber came to our house within 30 minutes. Diagnosed the problem and repaired the water heater in 45 minutes. Charged exactly what he estimated. Most surprising, it did not cost any more to have them come on a Sunday than on a weekday. Fast, competent, honest, and polite. This is the second time I have had Simpson come and do plumbing repairs. The first time was a fairly serious problem with our connection to the city sewer. They did an excellent job on that as well. read more

We recently had a leak in our hot water line under a concrete slab. The first company I called gave me a quote which seemed very high to me. I found Simpson plumbing in the online yellow pages and gave them a call to get a comparison quote. I am so happy I did. Nate came out within a few hours and gave me a quote which was about 50% less. He explained my options, answered all questions and scheduled the, all day job, for the following day. It was not an easy repair being under the concrete slab but he had a unique solution which worked great! I will not call another plumber from now on. I don't think we could have found a nicer plumbing service. The plumber was on time, had a great personality, is an expert and a true professional at his trade, and knows how to provide excellent customer service. When he saw that I had already dismantled the thermostat's temperature controller's pilot light assembly, he wanted to know what I had checked and what I felt was the problem. He was very pleased, and agreed with my conclusion. Now, I am really impressed. Once he had the part, it only took a few minutes to install and get everything operating. We scheduled this appointment on-line after reading reviews on yelp. Simpson Plumbing was quick to respond. We had a small job - two leaky outdoor faucets and a bathroom faucet that needed replacing. All of the items had supposedly been repaired within the last nine months by "handymen" my elderly mom hired. Nate was professional, efficient and very customer friendly. Once Nate learned that I had traveled from the Bay Area to provide support to my mom, he went out of his way to get the job done the same day he came out to provide an estimate. So happy i found this company. Had thrree different plumbing jobs to be done and all were completed expertly and timely. Brandon and Nate both came out and were very professional as well as friendly. These guys really know what they are doing, unlike the plumbers usually sent out by my home warranty complany.
