These guys showed up 30 minutes EARLY to assess everything, and did not slow down once they began. They hit my 3 hour booking window I had to book for each building elevators, and didn't go over by one minute on either. Moving sucks, and having movers like these make such an impact on a stressful day. I won't use anyone else going forward, and will recommend them to everyone.

Of special note: my partner and I are a very openly out gay couple. Although we are frequently aware of unfriendly attitudes around that from many businesses, there was absolutely no feeling of being poorly judged by anyone at Sparta. We will wholeheartedly recommend Sparta to any of our queer friends who many need a mover! We will definitely call Sparta for our next move!

While the actual moving crew was polite, efficient,…read moreand did a great job assembling my furniture, the company's post-move customer service has been completely unacceptable. During the move-in, the movers caused damage to my newly built apartment building by backing their truck into a large custom exterior drainage and steel decorative frame. Accidents happen, but the company's response has been entirely unprofessional. They are flatly refusing to cover the repair costs, refusing to provide their certificate of insurance, and are completely ignoring all phone calls and emails from my building's owners and property management company. Because they are dodging accountability, I am now stuck in the middle of a dispute with my new building management. Do not trust this company. If anything goes wrong on your move, they will ghost you and leave you to deal with the fallout.

And true to form, Cornell was a gentleman. My mother-in-law arrived to our new home just after we all arrived there. As Cornell was returning to the trailer to get more items to bring into the house, he greeted my mother-in-law, put his arm in hers, and carefully walked her to the front of the house around ice and snow. A testament to the kind of person he is. Professional, Courteous, Organized, and a great value. Thank you, once again!

We appreciated being able to use the moving boxes they provided as we felt they were solid and safe enough for our belongings. We have a large collection of vinyl records, which is very heavy to move. The movers were very good about it and quite careful with them. The guys worked hard, from 9 am to 3, and did a great job protecting our stuff including antiques. We were very happy with how it all turned out! At the end of the move, the reusable bins were picked up which was nice, as we didn't need to store them or add to our big pile of post-move recycling.
