The fish on the nigiri was still great, and the futomaki were fun (sprouts?), but the plain maki were pretty plain, and the white miso was more crunchy (onion perhaps?) and less flavorful than most of the versions I've tried. Barfüsser claims to be one of the oldest gay-friendly bars in the world ("oldest continually operated", perhaps?). I stopped by during the after-lunch lull for a little sushi --- fine time to try the fish, but it was fairly quiet and didn't get much of a feel for the denizens.

When I looked into the restaurant later, I found out that it was promoted on some Swiss television show ("Mini Beiz, dini Beiz") before explaining the owner and his history a bit. I have to say that the experience was enjoyable and the food of the day menu was excellent, and the staff very friendly. Pricey, though, which is fine with me if everything else meets the bill.
