I had 4 items to move. 2 young guys half my age took over 30min to move these items into the truck. It felt suspicious to me. I follow behind them to the delivery address and they get in the wrong lane. I pull-up and ask where they're going, and the driver proceeds to say they need a break and have to eat something. I followed them to a gas station where I'm speaking to an agent that I'm not paying for a break that could have been taken between jobs and was told I won't be paying for that -- they charge $170 an hour btw. They get back in the truck and continue to go in the wrong direction. They pull into their office on Donelson & park the truck. I hop out and accuse them of purposefully wasting my time in order to bill me more for 4 items. We get into a shouting match and the driver who lied and said he was getting gas when he was just at a gas station said he could take a break whenever he wants and doesn't have to tell me, he told me to f**k off, and that he could waste my time and money if he wants to. Then they refused to open the truck so I can get my items and the office staff called the police. I explained to the cops what they did and that I will take my items in my car myself. And, I did. It took one highly aware and strong woman, who called-out these fraudsters to their face, less than 25min to load & unload my 4 items. This company should be investigated for billing fraud - they are dishonest, lack integrity, and are lazy. This isn't just a horrible experience. This shows everyone reading what is wrong with lazy people who think your money is their money -- and I don't have money like that -- I work 80hrs a week because I was homeless 8month ago. Neil determined over the phone that it would take two days for us to complete the move. Zach, John, Gabe & Gregg, both teams, were very conscientious of their work. Gabe moved our stereo and opened the lid to remove a vinyl record to prevent it from being scratched; to me, that revealed that they cared. The teams were very patient with my 88-year-old mother as she decided where to put those heavy dressers. They even took the time to relocate some of her furniture. When the move was complete, they tallied up the time and charged us $270.00 less than the original quote. They are setting a new standard in the moving industry. However, after seeing the condition of my table once the move was complete, I can't recommend them for moving items of value. The table was already known to be fragile, but it was not handled with the care it required. A chipped mirror piece was left behind, which was disappointing. While they did bring proper equipment, it wasn't used as effectively as it should have been to protect the furniture. They may be fine for basic moves, but I would not trust them with delicate or high-value items.
