I have placed lots of orders at this specific Walgreens location. Generally, I had been satisfied…read morewith the service. I was not always happy with the service, but it had been acceptable. I decided to give a lower one star rating because past experiences didn't exceed my expectations. Two weeks ago, I placed an order for two promotional photo books early in the morning. The promised pickup time was after 9.45am, which I chose rather than after 11am. Around 10.45am, we stopped by at the Walgreens location just to find out that there was nobody who would work on the order until after the 11am because the assistant manager was out and the manager was on vacation. I explained that one of the books was a gift for my parents, who were about to leave back to Europe that afternoon. I mentioned that I would now have to pay $25 to ship the book to Europe. She repeated that there is nothing she could do and only when she left she said 'I am sorry about that'. Not a very genuine apology; apparently, she didn't care because I receive an email that my order was processed around 1.30pm that day. Obviously, she didn't even leave a note to the photo shop associate. Neither did she leave a message for the assistant manager to address this issue. On Sunday, I sent an email to customer relations and received an answer from Felicia (below) in which she stated that a member of the management would reach out within two business days. Email from Walgreens' customer relations response: Dear Mark, Thank you for taking the time to email us with your concern regarding our store at 276 W LEE HWY. I truly apologize for any inconvenience this experience may have caused you. Walgreens takes customer comments and complaints very seriously, and we will continue to try to improve the way we do business. Please be assured that all the facts of this matter have been documented and forwarded to management for review. A member of management will reach out to you within two business days. I've included your case number below for your reference, should you have any questions. Again, thank you for taking time to bring your comment to our attention. We hope you'll give us another chance to serve you. Sincerely, Felicia G. Consumer Relations Case #: 10257477 ref:_00D60KXhO._5003au8JjA:ref Update: the store manager Dave Hall reached out to us and was apologetic and rectified the situation. We received a credit for $25 to cover shipping to Europe and will continue to visit the local Walgreens branch, even though we won't place any urgent orders with this location in the future. Thank you.

Jerome Knight Local Guide·13 reviews·11 photos…read more just now New Dr. Allison is not only a true professional -- I would go as far as calling him an artist who takes great pride in his work. He performed my cosmetic surgery (tummy tuck and liposuction) on June 5, and you could feel the confidence in his hands and the precision of his skill. His guidance, the way he maneuvered, and the calm reassurance he gave me made the entire experience exceptional. He even suggested that I stay awake during the procedure so everything could be done with maximum care. With the right medication to keep me relaxed -- and my favorite jazz and classical music playing -- the operation felt smooth, controlled, and surprisingly peaceful. I'm proud to say it was a complete success, and I'm extremely happy with the results. I'm also grateful that I didn't make the mistake of going overseas. Being part of the Penn Medicine family, where all my doctors communicate and coordinate with one another, gave me the safety and follow‑up care I needed. I would advise anyone in the New York or Philadelphia area to contact his office and schedule a consultation. He's exceptional on a human level, and that personal connection is what we all want with our doctor. I've seen him twice since the surgery, and I'm ecstatic about the results. As a former professional athlete and bodybuilder who dealt with excess skin after weight loss, at 57 I finally feel like my old self again. This was truly life‑changing. Rome L Knighton ll

I told her I wasn't seen and problem wasn't addressed because her staff scheduled me wrong and she gave me attitude demanding the paperwork. At this point, they had already wasted my time because I showed up to an appointment that was scheduled wrong and now this woman wants me to fill out paperwork with my personal information for what? She ended up stopping me at the elevator and called the office manager because I couldn't leave without giving her those papers. She was incredibly rude and unpleasant since the moment I checked in. The receptionist gives the first and last impression your customers get at your clinic. Maybe this woman needs a little training on how to talk to clients.

One area…read moreon my upper back/shoulder was frozen but just kept getting a tiny scab on it but it wouldn't bleed. Just gave me a bad feeling so I went back and asked to have it removed and sure enough it was precancerous and more surgery is required. In the meantime, I got new insurance and the front desk called about coverage and they were told I didn't have benefits which was incorrect. I called and found out that I have limited benefits which I relayed to the office. Today I showed up for my back surgery and was told that I had to pay $1500.00 in order to be seen. I was told that the insurance will only reimburse me and not the doctor so the doctor wants payment which I get. I asked why no one notified me and this is where the "blame" game started. Front desk said the billing department called me and told me I'd have to pay that amount - I never got a call, text, email or anything. I then spoke to the billing department Loretta who reiterated what I was supposedly told and I explained again -no one contacted me about anything. "Well, I wasn't involved with that conversation" was the answer I got. When I called the front desk back, again, was told "I'm just the receptionist" when obviously I was distraught. Not only the behavior with which I was treated, but I'm the one who asked for the spot to be removed -not the PA who examined me so now I have no confidence in their capabilities. I realize it's my insurance and I should know but the office knew I only had the insurance 2 months - but to not be notified that I had to pay $1500.00 or I wouldn't be seen for an obvious oversight the PA made I find very upsetting. Terrible customer service - it went quickly downhill. I have since left to go to another practice. Save time and just go somewhere else. Casandra called me back and was really nice and understood my frustration but the damage had been done.
