In the first 5 minutes of entering the store I saw and heard her scold her employees - in the middle of the store and loud enough for everyone to hear. Not more than 5 more minutes and got to hear a minutes long rant to another employee about another manager of a store wanting to steal her staff, blahblahblah. Keep it behind closed doors! I had my heart set on something they sold but turned right back around and decided to spend my money in a place that gave even the smallest amount of care towards their customers and their employees. Frisco Rod & Gun is a sports shop dedicated to the sports of hunting and fishing, and as such, they do a really great job of it. There are also sorts of varying rifles and shotguns plus ammunition along with a knowledgeable, helpful staff. So, if you need a gun to go hunting or any hunting equipment or advice, this is a great place for it. It also have everything you might need when it comes to fishing, fishing equipment and apparel. They are also an official weigh station and are associated with the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club with regards a weigh in for tournament events.

I ordered a Quantum spinning reel just like the one that I purchased at Bass Pro Shop for $71.00 inc tax. The same exact reel from Sportsman's Wholesale was $37.00 inc shipping saving me $34.00. I ordered it on a Saturday and it arrived the following Friday morning just as it was stated in the purchase agreement. The woman who met us was super kind and gave us lots of great local recommendations and helped us through the choices at sign in! Jonny, Charlie and Drake were champs! All SUPER kind and patient with our questions and taught us a lot about how higher altitude hang gliding works. We were also interested in they were eager to share their knowledge! The actual ride up, in the sky and descent, could not have been more smooth and professional and comfortable, and one of a kind lifetime experience! It really is like being a bird! I had a terrible experience with my first order from Kitty Hawk Kites a few weeks ago. When placing…read moremy order I trusted the website by choosing and paying for expedited shipping: an additional $30 for 1-3 business days. We were attending an event which we flew to in California and this was a gift needed to arrive in that timeframe. Almost 8 days after the order was placed, the item had still not arrived. I called several numbers on website several times explaining the situation but only reached VOICEMAILS. Not one person returned my calls. After we returned home, the item still had not been delivered to the recipient. It finally arrived 10 days after purchase - not 2-3 as indicated when ordered and paid for. After I emailed them I did not receive a personal response - instead an automated message telling me a portion of the amount I paid for the item was being partially refunded (the expedited shipping cost). I requested a full refund. This business needs to take inventory of the responsibility they have ensure elevated customer service and satisfaction. I would not recommend anyone place online orders from Kitty Hawk Kites after this experience. A huge disappointment as a business.
