Upon arrival we were excited and me myself anxious, the courts told us differently. Yet, the head deputy said "I know someone." and referred me to Raquelle. I was so relieved, we drove back and on the way back after trying one more person I called the number that he personally gave me. Thank The Most High that I did! Raquelle is so professional and heartwarming, I am thankful for her joining our union. There are many places to marry, but where she unites is beautiful and fulfilling. We often times stress ourselves about a certain image of marriage. Yet, the love provides. Raquelles' space is comfortable and far exceeds. I definitely recommend her. Raquelles' character and demeanor is nothing more of love. I am so thankful to have cross paths with her, especially during my marr with my husband.

I am writing this review now and before I get my photos back because I know it's not necessary to wait. I cannot say enough about Lindsay! She is passionate about what she does and when you book with her- you aren't just getting services the day of. She is quick to respond and always has the answer for you with any questions you may have. And if by chance she doesn't have an answer, she will find it for you. She helped me with certain things that weren't ever related to photography (months) prior to my wedding- like difficult and stressful dress appointments, parts of timeline, hair and makeup worries and we even talked about transportation and marriage license details. She is always checking in and truly wants everything to go as smooth as possible. The day of the wedding she arrived promptly and she was so organized and it made for such a relaxing, enjoyable day. Having Lindsay as my photographer was hands down one of the best and easiest decisions I made for my wedding. I could just tell she was a great choice from the first time we spoke on the phone! All off my photography worries went away. If you're on the fence about booking her, don't be. Book her and I promise you won't regret it!

I contacted them because of good reviews and an appealing website. I told them right at the beginning that it was for 40 people and I wanted desserts only. They sent me a price sheet (listing multiple items sold by the dozen). I called with a few more logistic questions and the rep told me "we don't sell just a (a = one in my world) dozen of anything," so when I sent in my order I ordered two dozen of multiple items. She never said I could only order ONE item for that small of a group. I got an email back saying "Thank you so much for your time, but I don't think that we will be able to accommodate this." More than a week has gone by since initial contact and now I'm back to square one to find a caterer in Toledo who can provide excellent desserts. Their food might be great - I can't attest to that. But word-of-mouth is a caterer's livelihood, and I simply cannot sit back and not make others aware of poor customer service.

After a long wait, I finally received a response on October 29 apologizing for the delay and confirming my date was available. They asked me to schedule a call through their portal to discuss details, which I did for November 4. Unfortunately, they did not show up for the call. They eventually connected with me later that day, and I sent inspiration photos to help with planning. After that, I heard nothing until January 16, 2026, when Katie messaged me asking if I had seen her proposal. She apologized for the lack of follow-up and said she would resend it if needed. I informed her that I had not received the proposal in my spam or portal, and she promised to resend it the next day. However, by January 17, I still had not received anything. I followed up again on March 1, 2026, hoping for some progress. Despite the ongoing communication issues, I was drawn to their work because of the beautiful photos and event space they showcased on Instagram. I really wanted to use their services. On March 2, I finally received a response from Stephen, who explained Katie was attending a conference but assured me I would get the proposal within a few days, no later than the end of that week. Now, 20 days later, I have received no proposal and no further follow-up. I am left with no choice but to look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. I cannot comment on their food or event space because I was never able to utilize their services. I want to support local small businesses, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

With cheese I just didn't care for it and I don't think I even ate half of it. The soup was okay and I think he might have got me a cookie. Everything I had just was not memorable. I know it's good to great for a lot of Toledo people but I'm not a Toledo person and it just wasn't for me. If I don't like the turkey odds of me liking anything else is probably a no.

The sandwiches and salads are conventional, and without any particularly unique ingredients or preparations. It's honestly about as generic as they come, and that I suspect, is part of why they've been around for so many decades. Family-owned, approachable, with predictable quality, Michael's is a cornerstone of a once thriving neighborhood. While it's seen better days, it feels a bit like it's on the up and up again. When it's warm out, I would suggest the best way to experience Michael's is with a take-out lunch, enjoyed across the street as a picnic, in the brand-new Glass City Metropark. During the colder months, it can also be enjoyed inside the historic, time-capsule of an indoor mall/courtyard. It's really a unique restaurant with relatively average food.
