My wife and I purchased home insurance through Christopher last year, and it has been the worst…read moredecision we have made. Christopher mistakenly didn't inform us that we didn't have a special coverage for water backup through the sewer, which is against Allstate policy. When we came home one day to find our house flooded with sewer water, we found out through the claims team that Christopher had mistakenly not offered us the coverage and that the $30,000 in damage wouldn't be covered because we didn't have the special coverage. We tried multiple times to contact Christopher and left him multiple messages in order to address what happened, but we couldn't reach him and he refused to call us back. The flooding issue was just the biggest of the issues we have had since purchasing insurance with Allstate. The adjusters that come out to our area are generally incapable of giving quality explanations as to why they are denying coverage. They seem more interested in protecting Allstate's bank account than covering their clients. Do not get coverage through Christopher with Allstate unless you enjoy paying for them to provide no help.
