It looked like a quality saw and was an American company located in Wisconsin. The total price including tax and freight came out to $1,836. I received the saw and unpacked it, I unpacked it carefully and set it up according to the instructions in the operator manual. As I was about to install the rip fence I heard a big crash from inside the saw. I looked into the throat opening and I saw the motor laying on the bottom of the saw. It broke off the mounts and I could plainly see the cracked and broken mount still attached to two mounting points on the motor. I took a picture and emailed the sales person, he replied the next day and told me someone from the parts department would call, no one called. I emailed the sales person, he never replied. I emailed him the next day, still no reply. Finally, four days after my first email the salesperson sent me a phone number of the parts department and told me to call them. I did, it did not go well, I thought they would have been informed of my problem and working a repair. No, they never heard of the me or my saw. I talked to a "service technician", I sent him five more pictures. He told me he would order a new bracket and it would be ten weeks from China. He also told me I would have to make the repair??? I asked him if they could send a repairman and he told me they don't provide that service. I looked inside the saw and I quickly realized this repair was way over my head. I told the service department I wanted to return the saw. They scheduled a trucking company to pick up the saw but I would have to pack it. I didn't think packing should not be my responsibility but I also realized by now Baileigh certainly wouldn't help and I wanted this defective piece of junk out of here. I brought several items to work, including the motor that broke off and had them professionally packaged. I went to home depot and spent $80 on packing material, I had to crate it up and build a wood box around the saw. Baileigh received the saw and refunded me $1,387.78 leaving me to pay $442 in shipping cost. I filed a dispute with me credit card company. Since then I bought a saw from Sawstop, I checked the motor mounting bracket and they're about 4X the size and made from steel. The Baileigh saw motor mount appears to be cast.

Don finally showed up and did a minor calk job. He told us to call back if we still had trouble. Well the next rainstorm the water leak was back. I realize roofers are busy, but at least acknowledge the problem and agree to fix it at some point. What good is a warranty if no one ever calls you back for over 6 months?

Their service providers were RUDE and INSULTING when they dealt with the property manager - someone who has been a Sheboygan local all her life. Then when we tried to fix an issue they were again SHORT and DISRESPECTFUL. They refused to accept any of the blame for an issue that only happened after their installation and wouldn't even come out to look at it without charging a crazy fee. This is NOT how good business is done. Really wish we had listened to the Sheboygan locals who warned us about doing business with this company. Now we're paying the price.
