He quickly seemed overwhelmed by the volume of customer orders (which didn't seem like that many). He kept asking people what their order had been and losing track of what he was doing. After a long wait, the espresso shot in my cappuccino was burnt, and it tasted very bitter. I ended up drinking what I could, and then tossing the rest. I wanted to like this place and the service was friendly. I just think they need more employees working to handle orders. The vibe is trying to be eclectic but it's more on the messy/dirty side. Everything looked cluttered and dusty. Overall, i probably wouldn't go back. I feel bad leaving a negative review because i genuinely wanted to like this place and needed a coffee. Because there is a service window on each side of the building, the required direction of travel was not self-evident. There were no other vehicles present and no visible signs, arrows, or pavement markings indicating one-way traffic. Nevertheless, the staff refused to take my passenger's order until I drove around and returned to the same window facing the opposite direction. That made the transaction unnecessarily awkward: my passenger had to speak through me, and I had to pass the payment and drink back and forth. A business may certainly establish a required traffic pattern, but customers cannot reasonably follow a rule that is neither posted nor marked--particularly when the building has service windows on both sides. We were not cutting a line or disregarding instructions; there was no line and no signage to disregard. The more courteous and practical response would have been to complete the transaction, then politely explain the preferred direction for future visits. The coffee is genuinely very good. Unfortunately, the required direction of travel is not marked. Adding signs--and allowing a little reasonable discretion when no other customers are waiting--would greatly improve the experience.

It is a very intimate setting. I automatically asked if they had other filipino dishes other than lumpia? They said they only make different dishes sometimes due to a small kitchen and a good supplier (vendor). However the chef said she would try. So this very nice young girl took our order and shared different things on the menu. Since it was middle of the day, we ordered a dish called Asian grilled skewers which had two meat skewers, your choice of chicken or pork. A small fresh salad, sticky white rice and three pieces of lumpia. And I washed it down with a Dr Pepper. Then ended with freshly baked banana nut muffins. All for a pretty decent price. I'm definitely coming back and trying more dishes and hopefully show up when she makes a different filipino dish. They are so nice and very friendly. I didn't come in to purchase much, but from what I could tell it was a nice natural foods store. I ended up purchasing a 32oz bottle of Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Soap (on sale for $9.97!), a jar of lanolin, some bulk raw pumpkin seeds, some bulk raw sunflower seeds, a small bag of raisins, and a small bag of coconut rolled dates. They didn't sell raisins in bulk. Well, they kind of did. They had a bunch of individually bagged and weight, pre-priced bags of rasins. And they did have a good selection of different weighted bags, but it would've been nice to see a bin with a scoop, instead. It seemed kind of wasteful, though maybe it's just because that's how I'm used to seeing bulk raisins. And the raisin scoop always does get kind of sticky. Oh they had a peanut butter grinder! Which is always a big plus in a bulk section. The cashier was friendly. And there's plenty of bike parking.
