Roughly five years ago, we moved to our current location, which is on the opposite side of the airport. It takes me longer to get to a gas station these days, should I need to. I like this location. If you have a rental car and are about to head off to the airport, I recommend filling up at this gas station. It's easier and convenient to fill up and head off than using the other station across the street. This station gets busy in the morning, as it is next to the airport valet parking lot. However, I never have an issue finding a pump to fill up my car. Gas prices are still on the high side these days, but it's not as outrageous as it was a month ago. Don't forget to use your Petro Rewards card to earn points towards various purchases, such as bottled water or a gas discount. (222)

This is a PSA and warning for everyone PLEASE READ…read more On May 8th I filled up my gas tank (which was low on fuel) at Petro Canada 360 bayfield st in barrie ON and the next day my car broke down twice while driving. The engine completely shut off while driving. The next day we went to our Toyota dealership because we had just bought this car (2017 RAV 4) 2 months prior and on the way there our car shut off 3 times in traffic. They held our car for 3 days and came to the conclusion that petro canada had sold us diluted fuel which you can see in the mechanic notes below. We ended up having to pay toyota $619 for the damages petro canadas diluted fuel caused. Our mechanic gave us a bottle with a sample of this fuel so that Petro would be able to test it and see that it was them who caused it. When we went to the location and requested to talk to a manager, we were told a manager was not in the store and they would call us back. The employee took a copy of all of our documents and we left. 3 days later we still heard nothing from the store so we called again. This time we were told the manager was on vacation and we would be referred to the supervisor in charge while the manager was away. I called the supervisor and was told that I was lying and that it could never happen and would never happen. They refused to look at the documents provided and never bothered to look at the sample. At this point it had been two weeks, so we called Petro canadas customer service helpline. After another week of my boyfriend and I calling and making complaints, our case was transfered to a higher up manager, Liam Doherty. He told me the investigation would start but we probably were not going to get refunded. He would never answer my calls or listen to my concerns, and told me to wait for 2 weeks for the investigation. I provided him with all of the documents (receipts, mechanic notes) and told him we had a sample of the diluted fuel. Today, June 2nd almost a month later he called me to tell me that they did their investigation and ruled nothing was wrong with their gas and that they would not compensate the $619 of damage caused by them. This entire time they never tested the fuel our mechanic gave to us or looked at any of our documents and proof. We are now filing a lawsuit against them and having to pay for legal fees. I need this to gain media attention because this is an absolute outrage and we are being thrown aside like a bunch of little kids. On the southeast corner of Major Mac and Donald Cousens Parkway is this Pioneer gas station. A tidbit of information: Donald Cousens was the former Mayor of Markham. He held that position from 1994 till 2006. My parents liked him. I did, too, although I caught the beginning and end of his mayoral tenure. Naming this parkway after him was a nice touch. The gas price was cheaper than the posted price at a nearby Esso station by four cents a litre. I frequent the Circle K there. I immediately made a left turn to fill my car's gas tank here. There were a few customers pumping gas. I found an available gas pump. The problem was that I couldn't pay for gas at the pump. It was the case with all pumps that day. Luckily, the option to pay inside the store was available, so I did just that. I was at pump 8. When I was done, I walked into the convenience store. It's huge. It was nice to browse a bit before paying. There's a mini Country Style area. You can get coffee, slushies, hot chocolate, and more. There was a sign that said donuts, but I didn't see any in the display case. I love crullers from Country Style. Sadly, I didn't see any in the display case. I got a helpful man at the payment area. I said that I had gas to pay for at pump 8. I got my Journie barcode scanned for the first time. Husky got bought out by Journie at least a year ago, so I got my Husky rewards transferred over to Journie. I then paid with a credit card. Done! I thanked the man after he gave me my receipt. I headed to my car and continued my drive home. If you want cheap gas in the northeastern part of Markham, come here. It was an unexpected, pleasant find. I recommend signing up for Journie points, so you can get discounts on future gas, convenience store purchases, and more. (229)

Is this how the free market works?? Yesterday way passed midnight when all the other gas stations had their prices at 108.9 and they still keeping theirs at 99.9?! That's just so amazing. New gas stations with new pumps and love their paypass options right at the pumps. A quick tap 1 second later, I am ready to put in my gas. It was cold yesterday!
