You are greeted politely on arrival , and seated in a comfortable waiting room as your information is prepared for the doctor. You are then led to a very clean and comfortable treatment room. The care from Dr. Patel is absolutely first class, the exam, the treatment are very gentle and thorough , discussing your condition and treatment options in easy to understand detail, they do not rush you through in this office. Dr. Patel's bedside manner is unsurpassed, she is constantly asking if you are ok as she performs her tasks ensuring your comfort from start to finish . This office is very clean, comfortable and very well maintained with very up to date treatment apparatus. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted and checked in right away. Since I completed my paperwork ahead of time, the check-in process was quick and easy. Tracey was my dental Hygienist, and she was outstanding. She took all of my scans, explained everything she was doing, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She was efficient, patient, and never made me feel rushed. Dr. Patel carefully reviewed my X-rays and explained a treatment plan to help me achieve healthier gums. I was also concerned about the cost -- nearly $2,100 without dental insurance -- and I was trying to understand what was essential and what could wait. Instead of addressing my questions or the reason for my visit, the focus stayed on their standard workflow. This interaction reflects a larger problem in healthcare: too often, caregivers prioritize procedures over patient needs, leaving patients feeling they have no options except to comply. There is nothing wrong with earning money, but there is something wrong with recommending procedures the patient does not need immediately. I see another dentist soon after and I find out there is visible tooth decay in multiple places caught with the naked eye and on the x-ray. Cavities that were not correctly identified may have caused the need for a future root canal. Sensitivity laser treatment was recommended time and time again, which I even considered despite the cost. If I had stayed longer, I would be out hundreds of dollars with no relief and implants needed most likely.
