This is by far the worst dental clinic I have encountered in decades of dental visits. The front desk service was shockingly poor and unprofessional. The clinic requires patients to pay the full estimated bill before receiving treatment, but their charges are often higher than what the insurance company later determines the patient actually owes. When I asked to pay based on the insurance company's determination, the billing manager refused. Worse yet, a front desk staff member violently snatched the insurance statement from my hand and began shouting profanities. When I requested my treatment records, I was threatened that they would not be released unless I paid the full clinic bill, regardless of the insurance settlement. I have never experienced such unprofessional and aggressive service from a healthcare provider. In addition, the hygienist's work was perfunctory, her attitude was rude. Each cleaning takes much less time (5-10 minutes) of other dental clinics' hygienists. There was no communication at all during the whole cleaning process. Don't, just don't ! Went in for a loose tooth, saw dentist, said they would have to refer me to Perio Dr. who is only there 1 day every other week. Made that appointment several weeks later saw him. He explained work that needed to be done. I asked receptionist for a cost breakdown to be sent. I got that. Work was scheduled several weeks later - the removal and bone grafts/ tempo tooth etc. Checking out lady at desk gives me total due, I write check and ask for receipt and am told she can't. I'm like well if you are looking at an amount on the computer screen you must be able to print something up??? Nope, would not even let me look at screen. get home and several days later emailed invoice and its $300 more!!! Went back for several follow ups to see if how things were healing, each time in with Dr. probably 4-5 minutes at most !!!!!!!! check in with receptionist each time and was told no charge and I just figured ok, initial procedure was very $$$$$$ and I was in with Dr. only a few minutes. At the same time 0ver the few months of follow ups, I was asking for a cost breakdown for the balance of the work. Never received anything. Each time I questioned or asked, someone will get back to me. So I just figured ok, wasn't impressed with them either. Now, today 10 months later I get a bill for all the follow up visits I was told there was no charge for!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know what kind of scam or what the game is with them, but in my opinion and experience stay away. read more

I have been trying to get in touch with the office for 2 months and, in spite of their voice message saying they will call back promptly, I have yet to get a call back. I understand that the pandemic has impacted the practice, but not returning phone calls is inexcusable. I am STILL waiting for my permanent crown after 2 months! read more

I had all four impacted wisdom teeth removed at Ardent Smile/Doylestown Dental Speciality Center - who share an office, because they took my insurance. When I was told their oral surgeon is only there every other Tues. when I made my consultation appt, I didn't think anything of it. I'm young, healthy, and take care of myself - shouldn't be a problem. Right? 9/19: Surgery - I didn't want a narcotic, never had one, and wasn't sure how it would effect me so I requested something more mild. I got 800mg Ibuprofen, was told to take it every 4 hours. Days following, my jaw wouldn't line up, but I have TMJ on the right side and the oral surgeon did say it could be up to six weeks until that's back to normal. I took the steroid/antibiotic/ibuprofen as told. I was on top of my oral hygiene and I did everything the post-surgery sheet said. 10/3: My jaw was still messed up, my teeth didn't line up like they used to and it was incredibly hard/awkward to eat. I lost 4-5 pounds and my family was getting concerned. I went in to meet with the oral surgeon to make sure everything was healing okay. He said it all looked good. He asked if I was still taking the ibuprofen, I said no, I stopped it days ago - I was worried it was hurting my stomach because I couldn't eat much. He said take it 2x a day for 2-3 more weeks. I verified that 800mg 2x a day would be okay for my stomach. For the record, I'm 115 pounds. He said take it, there's still inflammation in your jaw, it'll help. I did as I was told. 10/6: Started developing extremely bad stomachaches, palpitations, sweats/chills. I couldn't eat, my stomach was constantly queazy. I was woken up by this every few hours that night. 10/7: Went to Patient First and was diagnosed with Gastritis from too much ibuprofen, and given a prescription for Prilosec. Stomach was still a wreck and there was still pain. Jaw/teeth didn't line up, still unable to eat right. Didn't call oral surgeon, it was what it was. Obviously I stopped the ibuprofen. 10/13: Pain in the lower bottom surgery site/jaw. By 10:30pm the left side my face was twice the size, there was a lump in my cheek, & puss was (no exaggeration) gushing out of the surgery site if I moved my mouth or touched my cheek. It was painful/repulsive, and since it was late I had to go to the ER. I was given a prescription for an antibiotic rinse/300mg of a new antibiotic. I was told to follow up with my oral surgeon ASAP. 10/17: Oral surgeon gave me a syringe to rinse the sites, said there's tiny holes in the bottom two sites, it might take another 3-4 weeks until they close/heal. He gave me a 150mg antibiotic prescription to start as soon as the 300mg from the ER was complete. 10/20: Pharmacy can't fill the script until they verify he actually wanted 150mg. Pharmacist calls, is told oral surgeon is not there, he asks how he can get ahold of him, was told "I don't know where he is". Pharmacist also informs me that 800mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours is a gross overdosage for someone my size, and even if I was 200 pounds, I would've developed gastritis - verbatim. 10/21: 300mg antibiotic from ER is done. Nobody's been in touch with me. I call pharmacy - doc hasn't called back to verify, "so let's fill the 150mg", then he says wait we can't fill this, it's been written on the wrong pad, your insurance won't cover it this way. I call the office, speak to a guy at an answering service (it's Sat.), who tells me he'll put it in an urgent message to the office manager, and someone will be in touch with me ASAP. 10/23: Nobody called. I called the office at 11:30am & 2pm, left messages saying there's issues with my prescription and I can't fill it, someone needs to call. 10/24: Nothing. I wait till noon and call, I left a frustrated messaged and stated I expect a phone call back by the end of the business day, this is unacceptable. It's been five days now that my antibiotic is done and I don't have the new one the oral surgeon ordered. Later I get the most arrogant, unnecessary, and worst patient care I have ever experienced. I'll leave her name out of it but she starts the call off at the beginning giving me a hard time and saying they've "never had a patient call like this so many times". I said nobody is calling me back...? She condescendingly calls me "Sweetie", she questions what the Pharmacist told me, she raised her voice, said I was being rude, she kept cutting me off while I was trying to answer the questions she was asking, then she hung up on me. My jaw doesn't line up, I couldn't eat right for a month, my stomach was on fire, I now need Prilosec in the morning, and puss was dripping out of my gums... Are these NOT problems? Before Sept 19th I was on nothing but a multivitamin. My suggestion is if you care about your oral health and overall health to avoid this office at all costs. I have never had the misfortune to be treated this way, like an annoyance and a problem, and I have never in ten years treated my patients this way. read more

I was in the office for two items today 1) Regular Scheduled Cleaning 2) Discuss next steps to the final stage of an Implant. The hygienist was so professional and my teeth felt so clean afterwards. Dr. Vinnikov took her time to discuss the next steps regarding the last steps to an implant. When i checked out, the front office assistant was able to set up my appointments and call my insurance to confirm all details. This office is very organized! What a great Team! read more

I started going to this office when I moved to the area and went there for about four years. The office is very clean, modern and the staff is friendly. Dr. Inna is friendly and seems competent, although I did not need much from her aside from the post cleaning consult and had more interaction with one of their specialists who did an implant for me-- and that went extremely well. The reason I am giving this office two stars is because about 2 years ago, I started getting calls from them that my appointments wouldn't work on the day I'd scheduled (sometimes months in advance) and could I switch them. The first couple of times I thought, ok, but it kept happening again and again and again. Somewhere about a week before my appointment, Amber would call me and say that something had come up on the schedule and could I move my appointment. It's weird, and unprofessional, and I've never encountered this before. I can't imagine an office that has to keep rescheduling appointments and why that would be necessary but it got so annoying that the last time I went I told them to just forget it, I'll find another office. read more

Just don't go! 3 years and I still don't have a permanent denture. Dr. B is wonderful but no one told me he was only there every other Wed. I also had appts cancelled on me that I waited months for. Now I have to go to Signature Smile in Ft Washington where he now works. He said they are connected to Ardent Smile. Why didn't they just have me go there when they couldn't fit the bottom denture in? 3 yrs! I paid for them. Dr Inna is very nice but couldn't handle what I needed done so why would you go to a dentist that only does the simple stuff? Dr B. I wish you were still there and I have no idea why they can't hire a full time oral surgeon. Shame on them. Now my teeth have shifted so no wonder he is having problems fitting me. The older woman at the front desk was always told to give me an appt in 10 days and as soon as he walks away she says they don't have appts and she will call me. I waited months as they don't always answer the phone. They have caller ID which I suspected because I had my friend call and they picked up immediately but I had called 5 minutes earlier and no one answered?! I now am almost finished with this practice and in 6 yrs I still never got finished with my doctor there. My bottom denture never fit right so I can't where them. I told the front desk that I was moving and I needed work done before I left. She wouldn't give me an appointment until 5 days before I left. She had 8 weeks but refused to give me an appointment sooner. So after 6 yrs and they were paid, they couldn't care less except Dr B. who never knew how the front office treated me. My husband and I have been searching for a good dentist in the area for a while now. We recently stumbled on Ardent Smile, and we've had such a great experience with them, I felt compelled to write a review. First of all, the front-office staff is extremely courteous, organized, and helpful! Amber was able to explain exactly how our insurance worked, what we needed to do, what was covered, and what we needed to look out for. This sounds like something you would expect, but based on past experiences, it's not. During my cleaning, which was excellent, the hygienist offered a variety of services and clearly noted which were covered by insurance and which cost extra. Again, you'd think this would be a normal thing, but it's not. I've found that other offices in the area push services on you and then act defensive when it turns out they cost extra. Most importantly, we found Dr. Vinnikov to be friendly, knowledgeable, and capable. She actually talked my husband out of a root canal that another Dr. had recommended, and she was extremely gentle and efficient with the rest of her treatment. All the work she has done for us so far has been excellent. The office is also clean, modern, with good light and a nice atmosphere. We're just really happy we found this place. read more

I didn't know this office did root canals as another reviewer stated. They farmed me out to another office. The cleanings are inferior and cursory and their is no hygienist on staff. Chances are that at some point you will have trouble with their billing too. read more

This is actually my first review i have ever written. I normally don't write reviews because I've never had an experience that warranted an explanation. My husband came here for a routine cleaning and per the dentist's suggestion, had a filling removed and replaced because she said it was going to come out anyway. There was nothing wrong with that tooth in the first place, meaning there was no pain and the filling was not going to come out. She just said it was going to need replacing soon so he should make an appointment to have it replaced. Dr. Vinnikov must have been drilling excessive because he ended needing a root canal, which was also done by her. He continues to experience pain in that tooth now and has gone to other specialists to get a second opinion on the root cause of that pain. No one seems to know. The common suggestion from other specialists now is that he needs to remove that tooth and just replace it with an implant. And all this started from nothing. We have stopped using her because of this incident. Beware! read more
