After the plumbing company accidentally flooded our kitchen they sent Simple Solutions. Started out professional then it all went wrong. Were told they have one"floor" guy to put down replacement floor and took over a month to put our floor down. End result we now have a hole like dip in floor and places where planks don't even touch. They sent him back to fix first plank we saw sticking up but after time more planks have moved and sank. We no longer have faith in their work and don't care to have them back. The only positive to come from the water damage caused by a large plumbing company is the discovery of Simple Solutions. They were prompt, on top of communication, courteous, professional, and actually followed up to make sure work was completed to my satisfaction. That is infinitely more than I can say for the plumbing company that caused the water damage. I highly recommend Simple Solutions!! I hope I never have another situation where their services are required but I will call them if I do. read more

Our toilet and shower in the basement backed up and our guest bedroom and bathroom had some water and sewage damage. Our plumber sent Simple Solutions to our home to assess the damage and do the clean up and tear out whatever was damaged. They made their own decisions on equipment and actions and promised to deal directly with my insurance company. Two weeks after they completed their work at my home, Simple Solutions started to send me emails with invoices demanding payment, even though they claimed that they would work with my insurance company. A week or two later, they started making phone calls and legal threats. When my insurance company asked for more explanations of the scope of work to justify the amount they were charging for their work, they failed to provide everything that was being asked. My insurance company claimed that Simple Solutions used more equipment than was necessary and was charging 26% more than the claims adjuster said the job should have cost. The insurance company paid $6,409 and I ended up having to pay $2,286 out of pocket for the tearing out of baseboards, and carpet and the drying out and cleanup of one in-law suite. Shane and his team at Simple Solutions helped me when I came home from work and discovered a leak in the wall that caused water damage to my master closet, bathroom, and laundry room. They arrived at my house within the hour after calling and immediately began the drying process. They were very professional and extremely helpful with the insurance claim. Wow what can i say. Shane states "on our way in 30 minutes " in his pitch. I called at 9:30 ...he got there at 1:30. FOUR HOURS NOT 30 minutes ...as the water soaked deeper into the flooring sub flooring and insulation under the house. THEN, the sales pitch begins and its another hour before the first fans are turned on in the house and another 36 hours before fans go under house. I know a whole day and a half later... Said he couldn't find his employee that morning thats why it took so long to show on initial visit. Said we could sign the restoration part of contract anytime and they would take care of it. TEN DAYS of fans now floor started separating and he is too busy to start restoration. REALLY. Turned in invoice for 2100 sq ft of insulation removed. I went under house and it was under 500 sq ft void of insulation, charged for 2500 sq ft anti microbial spray ...wow. Thats fraud. Told the adjuster what i found and those weren't the only questionable items. Just the most obvious. The next invoice showed only 400 sq ft insulation removal and spraying. Again wow. Wonder why insurance rates and surcharges go up. Simple solutions in the perfect example of why. read more

Simple Solutions did a good job mitigating the water damage at our home. I would have given them a five star rating, but it all went downhill after I reported they broke our bed when it was moved. I felt compelled to write this review to share my disappointing experience in hopes the company will take notice. Instead of reimbursing me for the cost of the bed, they wanted our insurance company to cover the damage. I contacted the insurance company and they made it clear that Simple Solutions was responsible. Dan at Simple Solutions won't return my calls and only emails that he will follow-up with the insurance company. Meanwhile, I've been sleeping in our children's playroom for three months! I couldn't be more disappointed in this pathetic level of customer service after we paid them thousands of dollars. I hope Simple Solutions reads these reviews and makes this situation right. My family has suffered enough with the water damage to our home. read more
