It has a fantastic reputation. I'll make it out there one of these days for yoga, as they offer a free week of classes for new students in the tri-county area. But my review is specifically for the extras that they offer. I've been here twice now for their workshops, and they were definitely a fun and valuable addition to the yoga experience. I've been to an event listening to an amazing speaker on yoga, and then a painting event of chakra trees! For both, I was impressed with the turnout. Both had a fee (upward of $30-$45 depending on the event) but it was well worth the cost. The studio space is big and inviting. At both events, there was food, which was nice. Parking is ample although downtown Mount Clemons can get congested at times.

New times: Monday- 9am Tuesday- 6am and 9am Wednesday- 9am Thursday- 6am and 9am Friday- 6am and 9am Saturday- 8am Since I came during a time when they didn't offer a class, Justin was gracious enough to give me my own boot camp class. He was back on my good side, and it was a great workout. So the majority of people here are athletes (highschool,college, pro, etc). Now, I am no athlete. I run, yoga, and go to a zumba class here or there. But, I lack any type of upper body strength. I didn't know if I could make it through a boot camp class. With that said, if you lack any physical endurance- you should go to a planet fitness. But most of the people that attend boot camps are just average people that work out. They are the non super athletes. Based on Justin's passion for fitness and his athlete background, these boot-camp classes are like little mini-personal training sessions to push you that extra mile. There are a lot of modifications too. Even though they need to work out some organization kinks for this new place, You should just do a drop in and give it a try. Plus, I am a big advocate that he does a lot of local community/health and wellness activities for the city of Detroit. It's a great way to give back. I could always tell that the classes were jam packed, and I would always hear the music playing at the nail salon, so one day I was curious enough to walk over to the studio to learn more about the classes, and I am so glad that I did! I have been in love with the classes ever since! The first time I participated in a class, it was not as difficult as I assumed. I remembered back then, both Alisa and Mallory were so very nice, and professional, I loved taking both of their classes. I also remember taking Ria's class for the first time, and she was such a fiery ball of energy, I loved it! I'm not as consistent as I used to be with attending classes, but there are a majority of classes to participate in. And what I really appreciate and like is that the daily schedule is flexible, and some days the last class offered is at 8:00 p.m., which is very convenient for me. B/c I can get off of work, run errands, prepare dinner, and have time to still exercise in the late evening. I know there is a Mixxed-Fit class that is offered, Zumba, there is a Zumba-Gold class, and several other classes. There are also classes that are offered for children. Again, I can't say enough positives about the studio. The staff are very professional and always so pleasant, the classes are accommodating and there are several classes offered, plus different times accommodate every schedule, and the pricing of the classes are very reasonable. Individuals can pay per class, or purchase passes for different amounts. Studio Z Fitness is worth trying out if close in the Sterling Heights area!

It's dark and the bathroom is all the way in the back and if you walk in wearing street shoes and need to change into your gym gear, you're tracking salt, snow and water through the entire gym. Lots of staff always seem to be hanging out at the front at the desk chatting with each other.
