Avoid this mortgage company if you can. Their policies around insurance claim checks are outdated,…read moreburdensome, and show a complete lack of regard for homeowners dealing with stressful situations. They require every insurance claim check to be physically mailed to their claims department in New Orleans if you don't live there for endorsement. They provide no assistance with shipping costs, and they even require you to include a pre-paid return label or check just so they can send the endorsed check back. The turnaround is quoted at 5-10 business days, which can easily delay urgent repairs. To make matters worse, they force homeowners to print and mail documents that could easily be handled by email or electronic signature. After a home disaster, this process adds unnecessary stress, delays, and potential interest charges as repairs are postponed. All of these issues could be resolved if the company were willing to work with insurers to approve funds electronically -- a standard practice among more reputable lenders. Instead, they choose policies that create additional financial strain for their customers. If you have the option to work with another lender, I strongly recommend doing so.

The worst. Antiquated. Back woods policies. NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED at all…read more When I I itially opened the account, this bank seemed to be the BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD... When you're a new customer they roll out the red carpet... But soon that red carpet turned Into an old dusty rug. The policies & procedures of this bank are outdated, relic in nature & waaaaayyyyy too time consuming. Without going into account sensitive details, a dispute process takes 90 days, provisional credits are provided relative to the case. Trying to get card services representatives on the line is even difficult WHEN INSIDE THE BRANCH. I have too many other things to contend with than to have to sit & hold the line, or wait 90 days for a dispute. This just isn't the bank for a busy business person. They're too behind the times.
