The worst. Antiquated. Back woods policies. NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED at all…read more When I I itially opened the account, this bank seemed to be the BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD... When you're a new customer they roll out the red carpet... But soon that red carpet turned Into an old dusty rug. The policies & procedures of this bank are outdated, relic in nature & waaaaayyyyy too time consuming. Without going into account sensitive details, a dispute process takes 90 days, provisional credits are provided relative to the case. Trying to get card services representatives on the line is even difficult WHEN INSIDE THE BRANCH. I have too many other things to contend with than to have to sit & hold the line, or wait 90 days for a dispute. This just isn't the bank for a busy business person. They're too behind the times. Late & lagging responses from bank individuals. They just recently instituted mobile banking... Good bye. I'll leave y'all for thr snails.

This bank is the BEST. We were two of their very first customers when they opened this branch…read morelocation and we've been so happy. First and foremost, they know who we are when we walk in the door. They know our names and they always greet us with smiles. The wait time is never very long and they are always professional. One of the best things about this bank is that they refund ATM fees! Yep! Up to $25 lands back in your account monthly, so you never need to worry about finding a branch if you need cash. Another great thing is the interest checking and interest savings. You can choose to have your interest transferred into your checking account, so BINGO! More money in the bank! We've used Gulf Coast for car loans, our mortgage, and have several accounts (like a separate Christmas savings fund). Another bonus is how philanthropic they are and their connection to the community is amazing. They sponsor several fundraisers annually benefitting local charities and are partners with both the Mid-City Neighborhood Organization and Mid-City Biz. We're so glad they're here!!

They can't get anything straight. 3 days ago, I called about my mortgage insurance issues, and they told me they had no record of me holding a mortgage with them?!?! Avoid this mortgage company if you can. Their policies around insurance claim checks are outdated,…read moreburdensome, and show a complete lack of regard for homeowners dealing with stressful situations. They require every insurance claim check to be physically mailed to their claims department in New Orleans if you don't live there for endorsement. They provide no assistance with shipping costs, and they even require you to include a pre-paid return label or check just so they can send the endorsed check back. The turnaround is quoted at 5-10 business days, which can easily delay urgent repairs. To make matters worse, they force homeowners to print and mail documents that could easily be handled by email or electronic signature. After a home disaster, this process adds unnecessary stress, delays, and potential interest charges as repairs are postponed. All of these issues could be resolved if the company were willing to work with insurers to approve funds electronically -- a standard practice among more reputable lenders. Instead, they choose policies that create additional financial strain for their customers. If you have the option to work with another lender, I strongly recommend doing so.

I've even heard Rick tell me stories of how his team helps the community, even those people who wind up NOT getting a loan through The Crozier Team. That's what I call a team player; he's in it to win it by being the best version of himself - and leading that way - possible for his team, his clients, his community. Full transparency: I've not gotten a loan through Rick's services (I live in California) but I've introduced my own friends and clients who live in NOLA to The Crozier Team. See for yourself.
