I grew up in Bennettsville , but had friends and girlfriends in Cheraw and we would cruise the Sonic across the street , which is now moved by the Walmart . I came to town to take pictures , see old friends , and relive memories . I got the 2 Roast Beef Sandwich Special and boy was I let down . They are about a quarter of the size they were when I was a kid . They still tasted good though . I always like theirs better than Arby's . The store was the cleanest Hardee's I went to in the 2 weeks I was traveling all over N.C. and S.C. I went to 4 different ones during my trip . Gastonia , Kings Mountain , Waynesville , and Cheraw . Cheraw is still a pretty town and I wish Bennettsville was as nice as it used to be . I left in 1985 , but still make trips whenever I can to the South that I love .
