This was my first time making DCPs for a festival and Simple DCP was immensely helpful. Right before I was going to send them my master files to make my first DCP, a friend gave me advice about SRTs that left me feeling massively confused. I called Simple DCP, asked a number of questions, and then were able to advise and clear everything up right away -- I ended up spending much less time and effort than was necessary, thanks to their clarification. Since then, they've been flexible and accommodating when creating different deliverables for different festivals. Some are DCPs, some are high-quality ProRes exports with 5.1 mix... whatever it is, they will answer the phone and talk you through your confusion. They have great customer service, consistency, and are so clear and warm when communicating with me. Grateful for their help! read more

Always a great experience with simple DCP, friendly, reasonable, flexible. Very responsive And fast!

I've had to create DCPs a few times before but not for festival use so being my first time working with Simple DCP I was A. Concerned about cost and B. Technical ability of myself to make sure they had the deliverables. A. They were extremely affordable for the creation of it. A couple of hundred bucks and an easy setup to upload files. B. They were able to tweak my audio to get it to pass QC, I didn't have to do anything. That's great! And lastly they work with all of the major film festivals so once you create one with them - there is no more cost and literally just a form to fill out so they can get your DCP to other festivals you get in. Even shipped me a usb with my DCP too! Thanks to Kelly for their help btw! Come see our film at LA Shorts and Burbank Film Festival this year, called: Who's Watching Who? read more

They walked us through the process and communicated well and right away whenever we called. We are currently waiting to see our film at Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival. Pricing was great and upfront, I look forward to continuing working with this team. read more

Can't recommend Simple DCP enough!! Simple DCP - Awesome Room! - Video/Film Production Near Me - Burbank, California

We're an independent production company, and we have had several DCPs made of our features at Simple DCP. The service and quality has always been exceptional. They also have a fantastic screening room to review the DCP, so you know what it will look and sound like in the theater. Recently, we faced a tight deadline to get a DCP made for a screening at the Cannes Film Market. Simple DCP was very reachable and responsive and helped us make the deadline with a few days to spare by sending a down load link directly to them. We'll definitely be using them for our future DCP needs. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience working with Simple DCP! Everyone on their staff is so kind, considerate, and quick to help with any technical questions and beyond. It has been so easy working with them to provide the DCP of my film to any festivals that they partner with, which are the majority. And then for a festival that wasn't an official partner, they helped me and uploaded the DCP for me to this festival. The highlight of working with them is that I was able to do a complimentary quality check screening of my film at their offices for free. It was the first time my partner and I were able to see our film on the big screen and such a special experience. Thank you to the Simple DCP team! I'll definitely be working with them again on my next film read more

Simple DCP did a great transfer of my short doc, and patiently made sure the finished product was as good as possible, despite the unfortunate technical flaws of the file I brought to them. read more

I'm really impressed (and relieved!) at how helpful they have been. I'm a newbie to this DCP world and they patiently and thoroughly walked me through it when I was panicking about a deadline. They've responded right away to all my emails which is very surprising given that they seem to work with all the film festivals around LA. Communicative and patient which is what I needed. read more

Wonderful experience with Simple DCP from top to bottom. From the first phone call to the final check in their screening room. All four people who helped us were so kind, accommodating, and patient. They are experts at what they do, and went above and beyond to assist with some of the technical aspects. Cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

Simple DCP is great! I wanted to make a mini film to show at the theater for my husband's 40th. I know nothing about film/movies/tech and Kelly at Simple DCP was amazing - she answered all my questions, was patient, responsive and even connected with the theater directly to figure out what I needed to do to convert the film correctly. Their turnaround time was super quick as well. I would highly recommend them! read more

Crooks! Used their company to play at a festival and it didn't work! The venue is TCL Chinese Theater, which you would assume a company making DCP files would know what to expect from a huge company like TCL Chinese Theater and communicate that to their clients but nope. They took their money and ran...then tried to justify their actions. In legal terms this is called, "services weren't rendered." Why would you take your clients money if the product you produced doesn't work as advertised and pitched from their sales guys?!? Stay clear! Go to dcpforall dot com instead! I should've done that and saved my $274!!! read more

They also are very efficient and quick at what they do. Highly recommended as a DCP service for anybody producing a film under a budget. read more

I worked with them for the Culver City Film Festival in December. As a first time film makers they we extremely helpful. My film looked awesome on the big screen. Highly recommend them. read more

I worked with this company for the first time this week. I have limited skills when it come to video editing and they were so patient with me I terms of helping me understand what needed to be done, changed and explaining terminology. Their site makes it very easy to upload files. They were in constant communication with me on a very small job which I'm sure is insignificant compared to what they are used to working on. This company treats you like you are their most important client. I'm so appreciative and impressed. They will be getting all of my future business. read more

I highly recommend Simple DCP. They create accurate, high quality DCPs for a fair price and within the timeline requested. Thank you!

Rude unprofessional client services, misled on delivery time. Had to take drive back.

Simple DCP provides our filmmakers with a quick and easy way to submit their DCP, or to engage the DCP creation process and have a DCP created. Going from 100% film shipments and DCP acquisitions to over 75% online acquisitions has been a time and cost saver for Cinequest. Simple DCP also provides us with peace of mind prior to the festival by executing quality control and quality audits of DCP content. We are very happy with our relationship with Simple DCP and look forward to working with them for many years to come! read more

They were a wonderful company to work with! I'm pretty new to the film festival game and had no idea what to do when a festival asked me to send a blu ray exhibition copy. I found Simple DCP while googling ways to possibly make a file into blu ray, and I am so happy I found them. Pretty decent communication and would keep me updated if there was anything wrong with my files. Thank you so much for making a stressful task not so stressful! read more

I absolutely love Simple DCP. Chris, Garrett and the whole team are super nice and get the job done. I producer a film festival and every year we have used Simple DCP. They are the best out there. Highly recommend them for any of your DCP needs. read more

Simple DCP is GREAT. They're super professional, FAST, and they QC their DCP's, which a lot of other companies don't do. I also like that I have the option of keeping my DCPs stored with them, and they'll send it out for me whenever a film festival or venue needs it, so I don't have to deal with it. I've worked with them on a couple of my films now, and I saw that some weirdo posted a lame review of them here talking crazy, so I had to speak up. They also have a screening room, so if you're in the LA area you can come in and watch your DCP for yourself, which I did with my last documentary. And Kelly there is the best! read more

Simply the best! Everyone here is so friendly and easy to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied and do a great job of maintaining good relations with clients.
