We used Simple Cremation for the basic cremation package for my mom. (We had plans to take her remains for a service at the Houston National Cemetery.) The office was nothing but kind and professional. They were very professional and empathetic when my mom was transported out of my home following her time on hospice. I didn't realize cremation had more logistical steps, so it takes longer. Simple Cremation understood we were on a time crunch, so they followed up with each step to make sure all of the medical paperwork was quickly collected, so we could bring mom home in time for her committal service at the national cemetery. I was surprised by the simple wooden box that came with the basic package. I guess I was expecting a thick cardboard box and the need to buy an urn. The box reminded me of my dad's casket, so it was perfect. We embellished it and everyone had the opportunity to sign it before she was buried/ reunited with our dad. Communication was excellent, and overall, I was extremely impressed with Simple Cremation. A special thank you to the front desk receptionist who was there to answer all of my questions along the way and our specialist, Heather. PS. I ultimately chose them because they are enrolled with the BBB. read more

These folks responded to a family loss with grace, sympathy and a fairly high degree of logistical flexibility. A family member passed away in Wichita Falls in early August, so there was the local justice of the peace office to deal with (they did so on my behalf), trying to advance transfer of the body from the Fort Worth forensics complex where it had been taken to Simple Cremation's facility there. They handled the cremation and document certification tasks with professionalism and gentle good humor. I would recommend their services to anybody anywhere in North Texas, and possibly beyond, in my case from an out of state location. One thing I especially appreciated was the complete lack of any attempt to suggest or hint that I should upwardly change the simple procedure and treatment of the remains that I chose. I believe that when someone close to you is now gone, fancy accoutrements aren't necessary, nor are they called for. These folks understood that I felt that way, and showed complete respect for that position. My rep with them, Lezlie, was Excellent in every way. Well done to Simple Cremations of Fort Worth (and Dallas). read more

I selected Simple Cremation based on reviews and I'm glad I did. I contacted them in anticipation of my Mom's passing (she was in an assisted living facility in the Mid Cities area). They emailed me ALL the paperwork needed and I completed and returned to them from my desktop before everything happened. When the time came, it was one phone call and they showed up and handled EVERYTHING with my Mom. Needless to say, the day of becomes an emotional whirlwind and they were calm, confident, timely and compassionate. It could not have gone any better. They kept in touch throughout the process and assured me my Mom was accounted for, secure and in good hands. I received her remains and all of the notarized paperwork about 10 days later and am ready now to take her to her final resting place. I wanted a no frills, reasonably priced cremation and got all that and more. I looked at multiple funeral homes and could not believe how expensive it can get. I cannot recommend Simple Cremation enough from the pricing to the experience. So glad I found them and would absolutely use them again. read more

Excellent service. There were other places that were slightly less expensive, but they did not give the quality service that Simple Cremation did so we chose them when my Dad passed. My family and I were in shock and I had never planned a funeral before but their staff was incredibly helpful and compassionate and helped us to get this done easily. Most of the arrangements can be done online and everything is very clear and very reasonably priced, there were no weird extra fees, they are honest and forthcoming about all pricing. They treated my father and our family with so much respect and dignity, even down to the words they chose while discussing arrangements. I'm so glad I found them, they made a difficult time much easier. If you are in this position of making arrangements for a loved one, I am sorry for your loss, but this is definitely the team you're going to want, they are excellent. Thank you Jackie and the team for treating my Dad with the dignity he deserved. read more

When a loved one passes away suddenly there are so many decisions that have to be made quickly. We knew our mom wanted to be cremated but we had no ideas what we needed to do or who to call. A social worker at the hospital gave us a brochure for Simple Cremation. She informed us that everyone there is professional and personable and that she has been to Simple Cremation to meet the staff and take a tour. We knew right away this would be the place for our mom. The brochure was very informative and had the price on the front of the brochure which helped us a lot. We had no idea what the cost of a cremation would even be. From the first phone call our family made to Simple Cremation we felt how warm and personable the staff was during this tough time. Most of the arrangements can be done online even signing paperwork. This helped so much so we did not have to go in person back and forth to sign paperwork. read more

Losing my father was the most devastating time in my life. My mother, sister and I found Simple Cremation, and I cannot express enough how incredibly grateful we are that we did. Jackie Thompson, Funeral Director and Charlene Loeb, Cremation Specialist were there for us every step of the way, with compassion, concern and attentiveness. Their thoughtfulness and kindness showed in everything they did for us. With each phase of this sad process they guided us with support and assistance and were always there to answer our questions and provide proper timing expectations, which were always completely accurate. My family is extremely grateful to Jackie and Charlene for taking such good care of my father after he passed and our family during this incredibly difficult time. I am very pleased to highly recommend Jackie, Charlene and the entire staff of Simple Cremation. - Bill B. - Fort Worth read more

We experienced tremendous grief when our mom died but there were so many decisions to make after she passed. It was difficult managing our grief and making sure we were preparing a proper goodbye. We chose to use Simple Cremation and the care they provided during this difficult season was truly appreciated. They helped us navigate all the details, like the death certificate, choosing an urn and helping us understand each step along the way. The care, honesty and professionalism we received was truly comforting. They identified that mom was eligible for a military burial and helped us find her final resting place in a local military cemetery. Prior to internment, she received a beautiful military ceremony. While it was tough saying 'goodbye' to mom, we had a stronger measure of peace working with the great staff at Simple Cremation. read more

We were very pleased with the service provided by Simple Cremation. They handled everything professionally. We were able to arrange everything by email and a couple of phone calls. Amanda was very business like. She does not gush with condolences. But frankly, that is not what was needed. We just wanted to know that everything would be handled efficiently. And, it was. As a big bonus, I mentioned the Yelp promotion for a complimentary tribute video. I was expecting a bait and switch or some other trick. But, to my surprise, the video was provided with the basic simple cremation package, at no charge. It was beautifully done with pictures we provided and set to the music we requested. It was a tremendous added value. Many thanks to Amanda and her team for making a difficult time a little easier. read more

Excellence in All aspects!!! I had to handle the shock and difficulty of my only child, my son passing away. Amanda Clement was so understanding and personable. She and every staff member I dealt with were great. They made the entire process simple and met every need. Simple Cremation gave me information that I needed, that I did not think to ask about. There were steps they provided that covered things I would need later. I would not have been able to get through this without the compassion and in-depth service they provided. I cannot really put into words the gratitude I have for their service to my family. I have recommended them on two occasions, and each of those families has also been completely satisfied. Simple Cremations is simply excellence-integrity-service before self in all they do, thank you read more

The experience exceeded expectations, which for me is a rarity in my opinion. After calling a few funeral homes including Dignity, we went with Simple Cremations as they seemed to be the most upfront about service and pricing. They were very helpful in answering our questions and the electronic submission process seemed easier and quicker than traditional paper work. We only needed basic service, so it was nice to have the ability to pick and choose items that we wanted rather than paying for a bunch of things we didn't need. After my mom passed, they came fairly quickly to pick her up. Her remains were cremated faster than expected. Overall, if you are looking for a non-sense cremation service in the Dallas area you can't go wrong with Simple Cremations based on my experience. read more

The Best !!! Having to deal with your Mother's passing is hard enough, and having to deal with everything else that needs to be done can be quite draining. When I started my online research for a funeral home to make arraignments for my Mother, Simple Cremation popped as an option. After reading several reviews, I chose them and decided to utilize their option of "Plan Online" From that point forward the whole process went smooth and without any hick-ups (keep in mind that this happened around Christmas Holiday season) I want to thank All the employees involved with a special shout out to Jackie and Heather. They were compassionate, professional and great at communicating with me. May everyone have such a nice experience considering the circumstances. read more

I am grateful that I found Simple Cremations. Amanda Clement in Ft. Worth was my director, and what an amazing job she did. She is a talented, efficient, and knowledgeable young woman, and I am so grateful to her. My husband, a Marine, died in June of a 100% service-connected cause, and she made sure his dream-and mine-came true...burial of his cremains in our home state of NM at the national cemetery. She saw to it that he got all of his military honors, and not by students, but by Marines in dress blues. What a wonderful and moving time for me! The cost was also affordable, and I am very very grateful for all Simple Cremations did for me, and especially the loving concern Amanda showed. read more

Death is always difficult, no matter who, when, why or how it occurs. We had a love one pass away during the timing of the virus pandemic. I noticed, after reading, others are having such a difficult time taking care of burials and cremations. Simple Cremations made our lives smooth and easy through this process. I felt like the staff actually did care about my mother and they did want to ease my burden. They were thoughtful and kind yet competent and reliable. As i am trying to plan a memorial and mourn, they took excellent and respectful care of my mother. Thank you to Amanda and her staff. I am more than happy to recommend you all to anyone who chooses cremation. Mark & Christina read more

I would absolutely recommend Simple Cremation to anyone! From beginning to end and well after they have been phenomenal during such a heart breaking and stressful time. Communication was amazing. They answered every single question we had and offered up information when I didn't know which questions to ask. They took such care when picking up my mother and transferred her ashes for us into multiple urns that we brought with us. When everything else just seemed to be going wrong and the world was upside down emotionally, they were a Godsend. Amanda, Stephanie, Jackie, Charlene... probably others whose names escaped me... my family will be forever grateful for you all! read more

Let's be honest. Selecting a place to have the person you love most cremated is not at the top of anyone's list. Sadly, I had to make that decision and, after scouring the internet, it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The person I spoke with on the phone guided me through the process and made it as easy as possible. I felt comforted and cared for by the woman with whom I spoke. The price was surprisingly affordable, and the timeliness was perfect. I know some people who disapprove of cremation; however, the entire experience was dignified and sacred. I hope I don't have to use Simple Cremation again any time soon, but when I need them, they'll be my go-to. read more

Anytime there is a death in the family it is extremely hard. They were kind , considerate and answered all our questions completely. My husband passed at home from cancer and when they came to my house they were extremely professional and treated him with kindness and dignity. They even let us say a final goodbye and weren't just trying to rush him out the door. They knew we were grieving and respected that. Amanda made sure that we were happy all the way through the process. We wanted to send some things with him to the cremation and she had no problem with it. These are amazing people and they will treat you and your family with dignity , caring and respect. read more

A friend's family recommended Simple Cremation as they used them the year prior to our family member's passing. My grandmother passed away in Early February. Once I made the difficult call to this company I learned they were gentle, reassuring, patient, not pushy, and incredibly empathetic. The pricing was within our budget as majority of others were not. They handled all of the leg work. I was notified with every step. And once it was time to collect my grandmother and documents, the process was calm and simple. I felt the process was handled with the dignity my grandmother deserved. I will always recommend this company. read more
