You are getting a good price for services, but please be aware, they will not be able to get the remains back to you as quickly as others will. My freind was able to get her loved ones ashes back in 4 days with a more expensive funeral home. It took us about 20 days to get mom back. Everything was done with the utmost attention to detail and they made themselves available for all questions. HORRIBLE. Spoke with Amanda. First of all, my mother passed away suddenly and I have never dealt with anything of this nature before. I called to gather some information, and asked what kind of packages they offer. What anyone would expect is "Okay, here's what we offer." Instead I'm met with "What are your questions?" Cold. Rude. Uncaring. I could literally hear her banging around in her kitchen, it sounded like she was making breakfast. Unprofessional. The kicker, I asked if it would be possible to see my mother before the cremation. She told me not without an embalming which was an extra $800. Of course. Tacking on fees to make extra money. Pitiful. It's clearly listed on their website under "frequently asked questions" that you are able to see the body of your loved one WITHOUT an embalming. What?? This sorry excuse for a human didn't even know what she was talking about and completely contradicted herself. Or, they don't have the correct information provided on their website, and who the hell has time for that? I spoke with two other funeral companies afterward who were SO sweet, helpful, and walked me through the entire process. Every detail. With complete and utter kindness. Do NOT waste your time here. The funeral home we decided on is the same price as this sham of a place. Not worth it. When a loved one dies, especially your parent, you are in enough grief. The very last thing you need is for someone in this business to treat you so poorly. Shameful. read more
