Right! So there's no prizes for guessing the name of the proprietor of this business... nor any laughs if you mention that he likes to keep things simple! (Which he doesn't by the way... well, if you want to go judging a book by its cover that is! The interior of the shop looks as complicated as a snarled skein of wool! There's an awful lot of bikes in there!)
I wish I'd paid Simon a visit before recently trading in my 3 year old Claude Butler, knocking a meagre £20.00 off the sale price of a new one. I bought a replacement Urban 100 Claude Butler, but the new version doesn't even have easy release wheels like the old one. And there's one good reason for that... the new one isn't as good!
I had a chat with Simon the other day about my folly, and he, as sympathetically as possible, told me that he would have been able to fix the old one, given half a chance... hey ho! We live and learn!
