We returned to The Galley at Sydney Boathouse, a beautiful spot, right on Sydney Harbour marina…read moresituated between Rozelle and Glebe, and under the ANZAC Bridge. The nearby car park gives 1 hour free parking so it's easy to pop by for brunch or lunch. It's a lovely view of the city scape and boats in the harbour and you can enjoy your breakfast up on the deck of the converted waiting hall / shipping container, or on a lounge by the water. This time we opted for the couches and made friends with a nearby diners French bulldog. It's certainly a dog friendly spot. You can also sit inside if the weather isn't suitable with beautiful styling, nautically themed with blue striped cushions, decorative ropes and anchors. We loved this place last time, so we were keen to try their new menu. The menu has a more varied amount of choices at brunch. There's sweets, salads and some regular and ever popular choices. The mozzarella with avo, perfectly place on sourdough with greens and pomegranates, heirloom tomatoes and and a soft poached egg was beautiful. The roast pumpkin salad with grains, Persian feta, heirloom salad, avocado, confit onion, Pepita dukkah and herbs is the kind of dish I'd enjoy every day. Super healthy and refreshing and the pumpkin was perfectly cooked. For a sweet finish, we really liked the poached pear on brioche, toast with salted caramel, passionfruit cream, candied pistachio and lemon zest. We imagine this will be a very popular menu item.

Really should give these guys one star but haven't the heart…read more Like many places that want to be much to many they are less than to all. The menu is far too big and clearly geared to hearty country folk who like a plateful of fried stuff. I liked the sound of a toasted sandwich and ordered a southern something that was slow cooked brisket and bell peppers. At $16 I was expecting a good meal, but sadly I got the micro sandwich that appears in the picture. My fellow diners wrap looked a far better proposition and luckily she shared with me or I would have been hungry after my expensive toastie. The flavours were good. It seriously they are having a laugh at the size. Especially as it sits alone on the plate with no fries or accompaniments at all. Pass on by friends.

My wife and I both had the Big Breakfast, which was fantastic--eggs, roasted tomatoes, sausage, bacon and toast--all delicious. Our kids both had the French toast, which was their favorite meal of many in our 3-week trip across Australia. We had a larger table with other family along as well, and the service was superb, the coffee and food both exceptional, and the whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Cute tucked away cafe, however not enough indoor seating; so you're screwed if you go on a cold…read moreday. First time going and we wont be back. Though staff were friendly and food was prompt it was rather dull for the price you pay. Iced coffee lacked the caramel i paid an extra 70cents for and the cheeseburger was nothing but tomato relish; so much so i had to take the bottom bun off to be able to taste anything else. Aioli with chips was nice, but half way down the flavour changed so it's clear they mixed it with mayo or something flavourless and I was forever searching for the chicken salt seasoning we asked for on there. Husbands kamden fried chicken burger was drenched in bbq, would've been better with bacon than bbq. Would rate higher if it wasnt for having to sit out in the cold, the ridiculously priced food (ps burgers dont come with chips) and the awesome conversation my husband decided to have with me when we got home of him having explosive diarrhoea from the food. I quote "my asshole was burning and i hadn't even started shitting". Place is nothing more than a fancy colonic. Save yourself the time and effort and go to Amorettis in Narellan. Atleast there you'll be out of the elements and won't cry over having pissed away $70 on a basic lunch thats nothing but pretentious amongst the snobbish Camden residents.
