Twice, twice in recent times I've gone to SimonMed. Both have been substandard quality and office experience. The first time, just a few months ago, I walked in for an X-ray. Yup, no appointment, walk in. I arrived when the office opened. But, apparently X-ray staff arrived later. So I left and came back an hour later and waited in line for my X-ray. Today, again, I walked in for an X-ray. There was only one person at the reception desk. She couldn't fit me in! I was told to come back later. Hmmm! Hey SimonMed, make appointments! I was told that they were open for business at 7:00 AM. And they accept walk in's for chest x-rays and they were first come first serve. I arrived at 7:15 AM. I was then told that they didn't do chest x-rays until after 8:30 AM. Not good news but I was there and there was no one else waiting. Then at 8:45 AM I was told that the chest x-ray tech was not going to be working today, and I would have to come back. They said they would reopen on 2Jan25 but they do not make appointments. I am not going to ever go back there again I am definitely not going to recommend Simon Medical Imaging company. I would go so far to even say that I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy much less to my ex-wife even though she probably deserves the poor customer service and poor customer care she would probably receive from Simon Medical Imaging. It's ridiculous that the corporate phone schedulers have no idea of what facility has for equipment. It's ridiculous that you get scheduled by a Sinom Med scheduler only to get canceled 18 hours before the procedure to be told that the facility does NOT perform what their scheduler scheduled. Then you have to call back and 35 minutes into a call and simple questions are not being answered. Joseph hung up on me. Heather seems clueless and slow, OMG is she SLOW. read more

Absolutely horrible MRI tech. This is the third time we have gone here to have an MRI done. They know my husband's circumstances because they have it on file. They do not have up to date equipment and last time wanted to send us to Phoenix to their office they did have updated equipment. The tech, the very time, has been rude to my husband. We will definitely tell our referring physician to never refer us to Simon Med again. read more

They keep canceling my appointments, saying they cant get ahold of my insurance, yet 3 times my insurance ok my scan, oversea operators have no clue what's up, went to a different place and got right in, insurance covered it , unless your broke, i cant recommend this place. The low rating is because of their lack of integrity in taking responsibility for errors. My dentist requested a chest X-ray for me to rule out aspiration of a crown. When he called SimonMed to know what the procedure was he ultimately spoke with 3 different people and only the front desk person gave him the correct information. The X-ray was to be read "Stat" and the results faxed to my dentist. A week later when I called the records clerk apologized and couldn't explain why the fax hadn't been sent but he sent it right then. I called the "supervisor" and was told 1 story. When my dentist office called they eventually spoke with 3 different people each one with a different story. Their unwillingness to take responsibility to find out what actually happened and take corrective action to prevent a future occurrence prompts me to recommend don't use them. read more

Efficient and friendly . I was a walk-in and it was very quick turnaround time. They are clean and professional as well.

I took my brother to get an ultrasound, everything about the appointment was great. We were there as asked, 15 minutes before appointment time, he was seen at the appointment time, give or take a couple of minutes. I do have an issue with the appointment scheduling process. It's very difficult and frustrating to make an appointment by phone, it seems to me to be a central scheduling system for all SimonMed locations and I kept getting disconnected. I gave up on that and went in person to schedule the appointment. The receptionist was awesome! I will use their services again! read more

When I make an appointment and have to wait to get in I do not appreciate it. My time is just as important as theres. I feel as if they should credit me the same amount they charge me. They were very quick to get my copay read more

The visit itself was fine. But getting there was not. The website said that they did not take appointments for x-rays. But when I show up there is a sign on the door saying no walk-in x-rays to call for an appointment. I call the number and after numerous selections and instructions to go to their website (tried that--can't make an appointment for an x-ray). Finally connect to a "CSR" who told me they don't make appointments for x-rays. So I tell her my story, and explain that I don't want to drive into town (it's about 30 minutes) she is unphased After a little back and forth (and escalating assertiveness on my part) I ask to speak to a supervisor. She was quite nice and efficient, and makes an appointment for the next day. Thirty minutes before the appointment I head for town. I had just gotten on the road (after arranging to take time off work) the local office calls to cancel--the machine is undergoing maintenance. The couldn't have called sooner? Two days later I show up at the new appointment time. After a 45 minute the nice and efficient x-ray tech calls me in and less than 10 minutes I am on the road home. NEW My mom had an ultrasound done Wednesday, the tech was very kind and understanding with her being an elderly. Sweet young lady. But my encountered problem with the facility was the receptionist that checked us in. We were first greeted by the one on the left side of the desk as you walk in (didn't get the name) as a medical facility office should greet their patients. That was welcoming. However Liz who checked us in had an attitude from the start. She made me feel like It was a burden to check us in our appointment . She had a strong attitude from the start. And once I asked for her name she rolled her eyes and gave me her name with complete attitude. You would think she would be nice after asking her name but she wasn't. Please put her through a training to better treat patients that are already worried about their health issues. It made the entire visit unpleasant. The facility is cheap compared to YRMC but patient care/ comfort is far more important. I work at a medical office in town and have never came across a front desk clerk with a bad attitude. Over all everything else went smoothly. It's a clean and nice facility wish I would have had a better encounter with the receptionist that helped me check my mom in. Had a good experience while getting an ultrasound but it went bad once I left. After at least a dozen phone calls it took 14 days to get the results. First they sent it (supposedly) to the doc who ordered the ultrasound at urgent care instead of my gp in Oregon as I instructed. I never heard from the urgent care doc so I don't think he got it either. While at my gp in Oregon, he ordered a CT scan and I got the results in an hour. Follow up and service after the fact was horrible. read more

What an excellent radiology practice. Like it used to be. Knowledgeable techs, helpful receptionists, easy to navigate website, and they share your results with you on demand. Unfortunately, not all of the tech you may need at the very edge of requirements. Quite unlike YRMC. Maybe opposite. read more

I had multiple terrible experiences here. My first visit was scheduled weeks in advance and the day of I sat in the waiting area for THREE hours waiting to be seen. My second visit was thankfully faster in and out in about an hour, they call me 3 business days later to collect payment "today or tomorrow" stating I forgot to pay them and my insurance had been processed and I owe x amount I then check my claims portal of my insurance where it shows NO CLAIM meaning they are trying to fraudulently collect payment. I then call SimonMed where they proceed to tell me that no one called and my claim was sent to be processed 4 days ago on a Saturday (BCBS does not process on the weekend) a claim can take a minimum of 7-10 business days to process..there is no way they know what I owe because it was never processed and SimonMed doesn't have an EOB from BCBS showing the breakdown of my claim...I call the Yuma location to explain this issue to Denise who proceeds to give me an extremely unprofessional attitude "okay you can pay it in 30days" I explained to her that I prefer to be billed through the mail with an EOB I will not be paying at the time of service because I do not trust that they will bill me rightly. Check your claims with your insurance and make sure you're paying the right amount, unprofessional interactions and fraudulent billing practices are the standard here and I cannot wait to be done working with them. read more

This was my first time using Simon Med. They are very difficult to reach by phone. I was able to schedule an appt online and the process was fairly smooth. I was able to get an appt within 3 days, opposed to the 13 days at the local hosp, which is my only other option in the small town where I live. I called my doctor's ofc & req'd them to fax the order & Auth. Later, I was asked to pre-register for my appt & complete some forms, they included billing & ins info, order & Auth info, and an extensive medical history questionnaire. They ask you to upload pics of your ID & ins cards, the order & the Auth. This was easy to use, but very time consuming. The only problem I had was that I did not have the ability to go back to an already completed section to edit or add anything to it & I did not have the order or Auth. Then, I tried to use the chat option. Initially, it was frustrating because the "bot" only had specific topics & none of them fit my needs & I did not see an option to speak to a live agent. At the end, "bot" asked if my questions were answered, I said no & then I was able to connect to a live agent. I was placed into a queue & was 4th in line. It took 15 or 20 mins for an agent to connect & then answer my questions. I asked if they had rcv:d my order & Auth, they said yes. I rcv'd several texts confirming each step from when I scheduled, needing to register, reminders, and on the day of my appt a link to check in. In addition to all of the texts, a live person called to remind me of my appt the day before & advised me that check-in time was 15 mins prior to my appt time. On the day of my appt, I arrived 20 - 25 mins early. I did not use the link to check in as the friendly person at the reception desk greeted me with a smile & said it was not necessary. There was no line & he could check me in right away. Since I had provided everything online, it was quick & easy. The waiting room was large & seating, hard plastic chairs, were spaced out. It had a clinic/sterile feel, it did have a TV, but lacked any other decor, and was not very warm & inviting. I was called back 35 mins past my appt time & then waited another 10 mins before the tech came & got me for the exam. She was very friendly and helped me get positioned on the CT machine. She began the exam & did a couple of scans. Then, I laid there for 5 or 10 mins before she came in & apologized for the long wait & said they did not have the order on file. I told her that I asked the doc to fax it & the Auth, 3 days ago, and I confirmed, w/their agent (chat), that they had received it. She said, no, they did not have it, but not to worry, they called the doc & they faxed it over right away. This, however, left me wondering why the guy at the front desk didn't check for the order & make the call to the doc's ofc during my almost hour long wait in the waiting room. She proceeded with the exam which consisted of 1 more scan & I was done. On my way out I asked the receptionist if he wanted a copy of the Auth. I had rcv'd a copy in the mail earlier that day. Since the tech only req'd the order, I wasn't sure if the Auth was faxed in with it & I wanted to make sure they had it. He checked my acct & was surprised to see that there was no order or Auth in the system. I explained that the tech just rcv'd the faxed order & he scanned my copy of the Auth into the system & linked it to my acct. I asked if they had a patient portal, he said yes, and showed me on his computer screen how to access it. My exam was on Friday 4/23, today is Tuesday 4/26 & nothing is available yet for viewing. From the time of my arrival to walking out the door was an 1.5 hrs. 3 out of 5 stars due to difficulty connecting to a live person, long wait times & Auth issues. Definitely room for improvement, but overall a good experience. Happy to have this new provider in our area! read more

They take too long to answers and then when they do the call gets disconnected. They say to leave message for call back but they don't call back. I've been on line 3 times to register but it says to call office. Find another place if you can read more

The excessive length of time it took to schedule was horrible. I was on hold for 45+ minutes and then call dropped.
