Getting something done that could be a bit intrusive was turned into not such a big deal. He let me babble on, what I do when nervous, and had great conversation. I recommend to anyone in the area.

I recently visited a SimonMed Imaging at the Rittenhouse location and had a concerning experience…read morethat I feel should be addressed. During check-in, I was handed a form and told " there's one more form to fill out that isn't available online to fill out" with no explanation. The form was a detailed questionnaire about personal and family history of various cancers and other medical conditions. This is highly sensitive information and was not required for the imaging exam I was there for. What was most concerning was how it was presented. It was given to patients in a way that made it seem mandatory, with no clarification that it was optional or for general screening purposes. Patients should not feel pressured to disclose personal or family health history without clear explanation and consent. Additionally, I was asked to change into a gown for my exam, which did not appear to be necessary. While I was in the changing room, a male staff member opened the door without waiting for a response. This was a serious breach of privacy and made me feel very uncomfortable. In a healthcare setting, transparency, informed consent, and respect for patient privacy are essential. I hope this feedback leads to clearer communication and better respect for patient boundaries moving forward.
