The front desk employee checking people in around 12:45 p.m. on July 21, 2026 (long dark wavy hair, no name tag) was very unprofessional. She came across as passive-aggressive, rude, and on a power trip. She honestly reminded me of the stereotype people have about TSA employees. This is a medical facility where people are dealing with very serious health problems. A little kindness and compassion go a long way. There is a professional way to enforce policies without making patients feel like they're an inconvenience or talking down to them. I've always had good experiences here, which is why this interaction was so disappointing. I hope management addresses it because the front desk is the first impression patients have, and they deserve to be treated with respect. I now prefer the Mesa location over Gilbert, even though I live here. I did have a good experience with Tiffany, the US technician. She was kind, professional & efficient. Wow@ Five minutes later the intelligent, talented thoughtful, Creative, Aiesha ushered me into her Galaxy Ultrasound Palace. Aiesha bought, from her own earnings the intetesting, relaxing, blue "star" projector, swirling patterns, dots and varying shades of blue and blue gray across the wall and ceiling. Some people get nervous in medical settings. Comfortable chair, swirling blue interior is calming. Thank you Joe in India (maybe), Dignity Health/AZ Diagnostic Radiology, Reception desk, and the Intelligent, capable, creative, caring Aiesha for an excellent data gathering event. I patiently waited in line for my turn and eventually reached the front of the line. At that point, the clerk acknowledged me and asked if I could wait for a minute. I understood that there may have been a reason for the delay and was willing to be patient. However, while I was waiting, another patron walked up to the counter after I had already reached the front of the line. Instead of assisting me as promised, the clerk proceeded to help the other patron first, leaving me standing there and waiting even longer. I found this experience frustrating and discourteous. As a customer who had waited my turn, I expected to be served in the order in which I arrived. Being overlooked in favor of someone who came after me made me feel that my time and patience were not valued. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I am not seeking to cause trouble. After each time I would receive a bill that would not match my EOB statement from my insurance company. I had to call each time to dispute the bill. They usually complied with my insurance company after a couple phone calls. The most recent bill they did not agree with my insurance and wanted an extra $300 over my EOB. I went on their website and paid what my insurance company told me I owed with my HSA. Simon Med is claiming to never have gotten what I paid them. My HSA has a record of the money going to Simon Med. Simon Med said I paid 'the wrong department' and cannot find the funds and threatened to send me to collections. I paid the full bill to avoid collections - so now I OVERPAID Simon Med by $300 and they refuse to refund me. My HSA won't refund me because they said it's been over 60 days. I decided to get mammograms and breast ultrasounds at a different company after the billing issue. The radiologist told me she sees no reason why Simon Med told me to come every 6 months for screening. I truly believe their billing department is fraudulent or at the very least unethical. I believe they told me to keep coming every 6 months just for the money and not because anything on my scan looked cancerous.
