I have had tests done there at least once a year and results come quickly. Yesterday I was having a heart CT and my pulse rate would not go down. I had a wonderful technician named Jamus that went above and beyond to help me get it done. He did everything politely and professionally and let me sit and relax in a quiet room and made it happen with his kindness and expertise. He was a huge blessing in the midst of my stressful situation. I am very grateful!! He personally turned a long day into a 5 star rating. read more

I rarely use my limited time to write negative reviews, but after having my mammogram appointment canceled twice, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. The first time, my appointment was canceled and rescheduled on the day of the appointment. After waiting a month for the new appointment, I just received another cancellation notice at 6:00 PM on a Friday for a Monday appointment. Since the office was closed for the weekend, there is no way to speak with anyone or reschedule until Monday. Scheduling has been frustrating throughout the process. I also experienced issues where my appointment was initially entered incorrectly, creating insurance coverage problems and confusion about costs. When I called for assistance, it often felt like the representatives were reading from scripts and were unable to address my specific questions or resolve the issues efficiently. I understand that occasional scheduling changes happen in healthcare, but canceling patients at the last minute once is disappointing. Having it happen twice for the same type of appointment is unacceptable. After multiple scheduling problems and significant delays, I've lost confidence in the process and will be seeking imaging services elsewhere. I look at the reviews about this place and realize I am not alone in my thoughts about SimonMed. What an embarrassing way to run a business! It's quite obvious nobody over there cares. read more

Had to wait 1 1/2 Hours! Then, When I was finally called back I asked her what the problem was. She said well; walk-ins Take Longer... My appointment was made over a month ago! Someone before me, waiting in line- told me he had been there before and waited 2 hours! I have reviewed different Simon Meds and they all seem under three stars? So I'm not sure if it's only Simon Med companies or they just need more employees all over the valley¿? This is just unacceptable. I'm glad I wasn't in pain. read more

Great location, ample parking, easy first floor access and great staff. However, I arrived before 8:30 and left just after 11am for a walk in xray. The online portal, when it opened at 8:30, showed 5 waiting for the service. Other locations showed 1 or 2. My lesson is to go later, and to try another location. The staff said it was unusually busy, thanked me for my patience, and were very pleasant and professional. Looking back I wish there were estimates of wait times, and/or that I knew which # of 5 I was so we could have felt more in control of our morning. read more

Came in for my mammo and ultrasound & had the nicest greeting from the front desk. The girl who did my mammo was amazing and the girl who did my diagnostic ultrasound was fabulous! She dimmed the lights, put on soft music and was very thorough and professional. I suffer from the worst anxiety although I hold it in well and this was my best experience yet with this staff. Went for an urgent ultrasound and they had me drink a bunch of water. My appt was at 12:30 and it was almost 2:00 pm when I was called back AFTER I inquired about the wait. Why have someone drink so much water then have them wait so long. Also my co pay was wrong but I paid it because I was in pain. The options were to pay it or put a card on hold pretty much so they can charge whatever after insurance. I think not! Here I am again still in pain needing another scan. I booked my appt online and a week later got a text my appt was canceled because insurance has not been approved, what kind of mess is this! They definitely need something added to this office. Front desk staff was rude. Particularly the woman with the cockeye. Also they called me 30 minutes after my appointment time & I arrived on time. I still had to wait another 20 minutes to get a quick breast exam & then when the exam was over, I was made aware the Doctor who had to let me know the results had stepped away & wouldnt be back for another 45 minutes & I already had other things planned to do for the day. I had an appointment for a mammogram two weeks ago. When I arrived, they said they didn't have my records from my previous facility and could not proceed with the appt. So they had to reschedule me for two weeks later, and they would request my records. Fast forward to today and my rescheduled appt. I called prior to check that they received my records. Turns out they haven't. The rep said it should be fine and she doesn't think they would turn me away. I let her know that this was the exact reason they turned me away last time, so coming to the appt would result in the same issue of canceling my appt. So, I've have to reschedule a second time and the next appt is not for another month. This is for a follow up to a previous mammogram that showed a growth. So, continuing to delay the appt. is placing my health in jeopardy. Extremely poor experience and no proactive efforts on their side. I wish I could go back to Steinberg, but they are not on my new insurance plan. read more

For the second time now Simon Med calls me telling me my appointment has to be rescheduled. Both times I asked why and the answer was "someone" took that appointment. The first time the called and told me that they have to change the location and the time of my appointment. I went to that rescheduled appointment got my MRI only to have them come back weeks later saying that MRI machine didn't do a good enough job! So now I'm stuck paying for a second MRI like I've got money to give to these incompetent practitioners You can see they only received 3 star reviews, and you shouldn't have to wonder why. This is incompetence at the highest level. If I could remove the one star review I would. If you ever need imaging done do not go here! read more

Unfortunately, I had to seek imaging elsewhere. I have been asked by Simon Med to reschedule my appointment 3 times losing 6 weeks in the process. I would think that an ultrasound for an aortic aneurysm would be a high enough priority to get it checked out in a timely manner. Just dealing with the schedulers is enough to make me never want to go to this company. The person was very hard to understand and not knowledgeable at all. Went and had 2 simple x-rays taken. As I left, I was told my doctor would get the results in 1-3 days. After 14 days and multiple calls from my doctor to Simon, we finally get the results. That's just too long for a x-ray report. read more

I had to get CT Cardiac Calcium test in 2023 and was sent to another location since this locations machine was down and waited only to be told no tech available. I finally completed test at this location after machine was back up. I had appointment this week at this location waited 45 minutes and was told machine down. I will not waste any more minutes of my life with SimonMed. Also someone needs to address office/lobby weird dark lighting behind the desk/counter, raggedy old social distancing decals on the floor, etc. Mismanaged. read more

Never ever will use this imaging center again. I had an appt on Tues for a mammogram and ultrasound. Over a week ago a CD of a prior ultrasound was sent right to the Coronado Center location . I get into the room ready to go and the tech said we don't have the CD. This should have been known prior to me wasting my time to go in. I also emailed my paperwork and they claim they never got that either. Their main call center is a nightmare and no one knows what they are doing. The tech MaKenzie felt very bad I had to reschedule . They got me in this Fri and the girl at the desk gave me her card to call her directly. I ended up with two cards. I've called them both and left VM for one. The other one doesn't answer. The stress alone of the health concern coupled with this place is just awful. Now I will go there tomorrow not knowing if they got the CD. I should have gone to Steinberg Diagnostic but no openings till May. Very upsetting! read more

Very nice staff, however, horrible scheduling and wait times for patients. First appointment I waited one hour and still wasn't seen due to the very overworked technician being far behind with patients. Second appointment one week later, the busy technician was still far behind with patients and the front desk person stated that the wait times are always like this even if I were to reschedule again. Apparently, this technician only comes in the afternoons . I went to my physician and got a referral for Desert radiologist. This place has no respect for your time, but they want you to arrive 15 minutes early to sit and wait indefinitely. management needs to hire more front desk staff, and definitely more technicians in the back. read more

Only giving one star for the actual staff in this particular office. They were very nice and helpful. Otherwise, this place is an absolute nightmare. They could only locate one of my MRI orders, I had two areas I needed imaging of. I had to call back and forth 6 times and each time they could locate one order OR the other, never both. One person was able to tell me they made separate accounts and finally found both orders, and when I showed up for my appointment they again, couldn't locate both orders. My doctor sent them over and I had no hard copy. They also rescheduled my appointment without asking me or notifying me. I only found out because I called them to reschedule my original appointment first the following week. Wait time was ridiculous, for the check in and imaging. There was 6 people in line just to check in all with different issues all extremely frustrated. CD scanner wasn't working so sending patients to a different facility to get images. Only one person working the front desk, no supervisor available either and he could've used some help. It's definitely an older outdated facility, the undressing and waiting situation was uncomfortable because staff, part of the waiting room and other patients undressed in garments are all visible and top of each other. No music or other things to make you comfortable during exam either. Go to Steinberg imaging ! read more

I have scheduled for MRI at 900 April 3/2021 and have to check in at 845 in the office located at 861 coronado center and the office was closed. I call to their number and message said office is closed. It's a business card at the door of the Regional Manager cell 7024660224 or office 7024363360 and I call both number and nobody answered. I take day off today to follow up my appointment and I miss my hours at work and MRI is not done. This is not acceptable at all . I really want the owner of this business to answer me why things like that happened in this location. Right now is 930 and still nobody shows up here. I'm very disappointed!! read more

I will never deal with this location again. I called and scheduled 3 procedures for today at 9:30... MRI/CT/X-ray. This location is filled with incompetence today. I get there at 9:10, I had to wait about 5 minutes to check in. I get to the desk and the guy tells me they can't do the CT today because they don't have a tech there today. I ask why no one called me? He said you should have gotten a call. I said NOPE. While standing there talking to this guy, Alisa from somewhere I. The same office calls my phone leaving a message that they can't. Do the CT today? B. SERIOUSLY??? You call at 9:15 for a 9:30 appt to change or cancel me? So the guy says he can do the X-ray and the MRI and he can get me into the location across town for a 1pm CT scan today. So I get the X-ray done and then I'm told it will be another 45 minutes before they can do the MRI so I have to wait...WRONG! So he schedules me for the MRI & CT scan across town for today. I'll see how this goes at that location before I write this company off for good. In the future I will avoid Simon Medical Imaging. There are other places in town to deal with. So pissed and today is my bday, what a great start...Thanks Simon UPDATE: The radiologists who transcribe the reports, they don't do a good job. Out of 3 tests, MRI, CT, X-RAY, none of the reports mention a fracture in my L5S1, yet on the films it is clearly visible. I went to this facility for an xray.A week later I contacted them to get a copy of my results and they said they could only email a copy to me so after giving them ALL of my personal information they said it was sent.Wrll after a full day and never receiving it, I called back and went through the same process again and after verifying my email they said it was sent.This happened 1 more time and finally I went to the office to pick it up.Now I need to go there again because they tried to email the receipt for my copay and nothing. I don't recommend this location. I had a simple x-ray ordered and so had to do a walk-in. The office does not allow appointments for x-rays, per their website. The front desk person- Michael (?) said it would be a 45 minute wait, as there were 3 people ahead of me. I finished my paperwork and brought it back up to the desk, where there was a gentleman standing jn front of me, who also came for an x-ray. But, he came in after I did. The front desk said under their breath, "Stop staring at me," when I gave them the paperwork and I questioned what they said, and they just brushed it off like they said nothing. So either they were being passive aggressive at me or was on FaceTime on their phone, as their phone was tilted vertically against their keyboard. I was definitely not staring at them, but if Facetime was the case, major HIPAA violation. The gentleman who came in after me was questioning how long the wait was after a while and the receptionist said they would be called back shortly and did not need to leave. So somehow, the man who came in after me got called back for imaging before me, which I found rude. In total I had to wait 1.5 hours to have a simple x-ray done. The tech, Ray, was super friendly and finished quickly. I felt bad for all of the patients waiting for mammograms because they were supposed to be in a separate waiting room, but were waiting in the general waiting area. read more

I tried contacting them today (06.17.2024) to confirm they accept my insurance simply because their X-ray's are walk in only. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes with "Kyle" he claimed he couldn't find my insurance although my doctor that requested the xray already had everything authorized. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he refused. I asked him why he was refusing to let me speak to his supervisor and he put me on eternal hold. Before trying to book with the company, Simon med imaging I ran and not only to one issue I ran into multiple issues. First, let's start with the scheduling department when I scheduled an appointment a week later I had gotten an email saying that my appointment has been updated a.k.a. changed without my permission. I did not receive a phone call. I did not receive anything but an email saying that my appointment has already been changed when trying to reach out to the company. It took multiple attempts for me to reach somebody via phone and when nobody was answering or had answers for me because everybody kept saying there was no notes in the appointment to figure out why they had switched my appointment. I took it upon myself to travel down there which is a 20 minute drive from my house and when I showed up the front desk seemed like she knew what I was talking about, but then made the excuse to say they should not have reached out to you saying that your appointment was changed. They should have reached out to you saying that the appointment needed more paperwork. She sent me off my way fixed the problem and specifically stated in the notes to not change my appointment again as I have been waiting three weeks to find out what is going on with my stomach and with that being said this appointment is super important to my health today I travel down again when my appointment was scheduled today I find myself looking at a message that was sent at 2:50 in the morning a super inappropriate time to let somebody know that their appointment has been canceled when I show up to the office I think maybe they committed a mistake as the front desk tells me that it's her first week back she doesn't know what's going on and I guess her ultrasound tech water broke at such a big company and if you're dealing with people's health, I don't understand why they knew the ultrasound tech was so far along that her water can break that they didn't have a back up hired and when dealing with this situation, it was all out of our control. I call again to again schedule and and book yet again another appointment that is gonna be another three weeks out to get in the call center or employee that was over the phone that I did not get the name hangs up on me after explaining my frustration that I need to get in as soon as possible because you guys canceled on me not only does he hang up on me he tells me that if I schedule another appointment for a certain date it won't be a for sure thing and I say I cannot have an appointment that is not for sure because I've already dealt with so many issues with you guys so far so I would like a for sure appointment and that is when I get hung up on I then decided to keep on trying to work with the company, but after so many mishaps, I decided to leave this is the worst company I have ever dealt with the supervisors or managers need to get a grip on their employees and the company overall needs to do better. If you're dealing with people's house this is ridiculous. Trying to get in and be scheduled. Shouldn't be such a hassle and if you're freaking ultrasound tech is that far along there needs to be a back up already on hand will not be ever attending any more appointments with them read more

SimonMed is always courteous and fast as possible! Coronado Center location is never as busy and usually very fast at getting you in for whatever you need done. I try to always ask for SimonMed on Coronado Center Dr., when Dr's. need imaging done for me. read more

Going to these places can be scary because usually, at least for me, the results define the outcome of what comes next. But I want to mention a person that stood out in her compassion, comforting ways and kindness. Her name is April (Coronado Location) . She saw that I was upset and anxious about my procedures and took the time to calmly support and put me at ease by explaining the medical language used and why this test was needed. I apprecated her so much. She kept me calm and I was able to relax until the results were revealed. Without someone like April extending empathy and fellow feeling, I don't know if I would of gone through these necessary and vital tests. Having someone there like April go above and beyond her job was wonderful and refreshing! read more

Horrible experience! Incompetent and rude! Scheduled diagnostic mammogram and spent an hour online portal entering personal information which was required prior to appointment. Received several confirmations, only to show up and be told they aren't providing mammograms. Front desk girl was very rude and gave me the run around, acting as if I was at fault somehow. Finally she told me I had to go to a far away location and there is a very long wait to get appointments. Why was I scheduled? Why did I receive confirmations? Why didn't they inform me of this earlier? Why was she so rude to me? Only reason I can think of is insurance company would drop them as provider if they know they only had one location in the Vegas Valley. I absolutely love this imaging company! I have been to several of their locations over the years and have had an awesome experience at each location. I had 5 scans to complete this time. Brain MRI, Neck MRI, Lumbar spine MRI, Lung CT, and a mammogram. I am NOT a fan of MRI's AT ALL due to some claustrophobia issues but, Jan, the tech doing the MRI's was absolutely amazing! He showed me with each test how I could get out if absolutely necessary and also kept in constant contact with me letting me know what was going on. HE IS A ROCKSTAR! Thank you Jan for dealing with me The best part is that I have never waited for more than 2 minutes to be called back or in between tests. I had 5 tests but was in and out in less than 2 hours They definitely have their scheduling on point. Every employee in every location I have been to has always been welcoming, accommodating and extremely friendly. I have been to other imaging centers and none compare to Simon Med. First time coming here for an xray of the shoulder area, and the parking lot was pretty full but once inside only had to wait about 15 minutes and then were seen by the kindest technician ever named Nathan! He explained everything and was so patient and friendly. I think he is the kindest technician I have ever met in the medical field. No X-Ray tech available. I was sent here by Veterans Evaluation Services. I asked if I could come back another day and was told "we don't know when an X-Ray tech will be available". So I ended up going to the Henderson office and starting process again. This cost me about 2 1/2 hours in additional time. read more
